I've been searching for other campsites with shuttles to and from Bonnaroo and came across a KOA. I spoke with the owner and the prices are alittle steep, $1600 for 4 people. The main thing that is making me look for a campsite is that I feel the need to shower daily and was hoping to have some shade. I've heard horror stories about the shower situations with lines that last up to 2-3 hours and everything else. Plus, I was imagining that I could go to town and maybe grab something to eat and save myself some money.. and I could use a REAL bathroom.
So my question is, is there any other local campsites with shuttles that might be less than KOA? If not, I am just going to start searching for an EZ-Up and start mocking up my cave.
There is not much else out there man. Honestly the shower lines are not that long just go between 5-7 before everyone wakes up. Or just buy a nice solar shower/shower tent.
$1,600?!? Holy leno! For that price I would just get a room at a hotel, seeing as you want the shade/shower/nearness to town.
the cheapest I found a room (for 4 of us) was for $2240 with a shuttle. I'm not sure if that was for 1 room or 2 rooms considering my friend had found it though.

that's a good option considering I will be partaking in the late-night festivities. I could always shower on my way back to my tent and just use baby wipes, water and a rag in the morning (when I wake up) to clean up. hopefully I'll be able to sleep alittle later with the cave that I plan on building.
1 EZ-Up 3 Tarps with the tent right in the middle of the EZ-Up with the opening for the EZ-Up facing away from the morning sun. does that sound like a good idea for a cave?

For a freaking hotel room?!??! My goodness. Even the 6 person condo that Sangreal and his wife rented for us to stay in for Hangout Fest didn't cost that much, and it was Beach Front!
Jesus.
Yea dude, you may as well camp. and 1Karen1 is right, you will definitely need at least one ez up for shade.
sorry about all the extra stuff I quoted unnecessarily. i'm not a very good quoter.
yeah, I thought it was alittle crazy too. but I guess this is when the town makes the most money. I'm not that worried about the second EZ-Up since it most likely will not fit in my car anyway. plus I am going to try to sleep as late as possible, hopefully the cave will help with that. I just hope I get a spot that is somewhat close to Centeroo.
now the hunt is on for the supplies we need, hopefully I can find a good deal on a roofrack and basket so that the trunk is able to close. lol
