I helped a guy who needed TP. I gave him a single sheet and told him to use it wisely. The poor soul wandered off to the portajohn with his head bowed until I called him back to explain that I was joking.
Tried to give a ride to a guy with a sign saying that he needed to go my way, but for some reason he didn't like the look of me...
Yelled out a dozen Happy Birthdays to all those with signs or T-shirts.
Dude? Where was that.... I overheard some neighbors of mine saying some guy just walked up to them and gave them a single sheet of toilet paper at first and they were friggin wiggin out over it for a few minutes. ;D
Shared stories with neighbors that made it down from Queens, NYC... Also shared special rolled and glass gifts with them and other neighbors Smoked a rolly thing with this green animal dude (?) in the Mardi Gras parade Was gifted poppypodgoodness from some friends from GA Was offered more food and water than needed Shared shade tents a couple times... had people over. I also lent out jumper cables and tools to people, quite a bit. Helped work on a guy's car, before I left.
When they come to take you down When they bring that wagon round When they come to call on you and drag your poor body down Just one thing I ask of you, just one thing for me Please forget you know my name, my darling sugaree Shake it, shake it sugaree, just dont tell them that you know me

At the johns between Camps Goldmember and Austin Powers.
We gave an extra tarp to our neighbors. They were sitting in the sun baking and did not look like they were having a good time at all. We offered them our rope and offered to let them tie it to our roof rack if needed. (We had an SUV and they had a sedan)
My bf and I shared our shade tent and company with a girl who had been camping alone because all of her friends bailed on her. She spent a lot of time down in Centeroo but when she was at her tent, we made sure she didn't feel alone. My bf shared his papers and was going to give her one of the glass pieces he bought because she lost hers but we didn't see her before we left.
We were camped out underneath the trees all day at the Which Stage on Sunday. I saw a dude with a little digi recorder in his sleeve earlier before I went to Wilco. I came back to the stage for The White Stripes and saw dude's digi recorder on the ground where people were stepping on it. So I picked it up, and sure enough dude came back and hadn't realized that his recorder had gone missing, so I gave it back to him and he proceeded to hand me 20 dollars and told me that I just saved him from gettin fired.

I took pictures on random girls' cameras for them at Damien Rice because they weren't tall enough. I also got a free dose at Flips from some really cool girl and then some free mushrooms from our neighbors Sunday morning (and with the heat turned out to be a bad idea)!

Here's a story that illustrates pretty literally that what goes around comes around. Last year, after Phil & Friends, we searched out some guys working one of the beer tents who we'd become friendly with. We had some items that we weren't going to take back home on a plane, so we gave them to one of these guys.
So this year, we run into the guys again, working a different beer tent. And the guy had not only held onto what we'd given him, he'd supplemented it and returned it to us. Not only that, but through his own connections, he was able to get us backstage during one of the acts. It was sweet.
I helped my neighbors figure out where the last 2 poles went in their tent. Goodies were also shared back and forth among all our neighbors.

Was it her birthday Roo weekend? I just ask because Friday morning i heard a group of girls saying they came to Bonnaroo to celebrate their friend's birthday, and since arriving had lost their friend, had no idea where their camp was, and didn't have any money or their cell phones.

Being a Lone Ranger, I knew I needed help setting up camp. First thing I did was help my neighbors. Fortunately, I had a mallet and a hammer. I made friends with all my neighbors pretty quick! I got the help I needed in return.
Friday morning I made a big pot of coffee. There were lots of takers on that. Got to meet new folks and talk. Had lots of beer with me and plenty of ice, so I shared that with whoever wanted. Got to chat in return.
Met many people in Centeroo and just shared our stories.
Walking past a group on Sunday, packed an extra bandanna figuring I might need it - A woman with this group was struggling with the dust. I gave her the extra bandanna. It was new, it was dark purple. I loved it but she really seemed to need it. I gave it up and felt great about it!
Found a camera at Police and am trying to locate the owner.
Saw a woman at Stripes asked her how she was doing. She said she wished she could see, the people in front of her were tall. I knew I couldn't lift her and hold her on my shoulders so I got her all the way to the front by telling folks she was Jack White's sister. Once there I left her and came upon a group that was dancing and joined in.
On the drive home I realized I made my injured right knee angry. It is better now.
I failed to mention the sharing of the few goodies I had, as well...though, I brought them to share in the first place, since they tend to upset my stomach... ???

i shared party favors, food, beer, water, and sunscreen. My neighbors were doing the same. i also let shorter people get in front of me, heck I let all sizes of people get in front of me, the main thing is hearing the music as well as feeling it. i tried to be as nice as I could ,and share the wealth as I would want others to do the same, I hope the rest of you guys on this board did the same as there were others who were not very nice, refused to share anything, and act like you didnt have a right to stand where you were, let alone breath.
let shorter people move in front of me at all times because i'm a tall bastard.
MAJOR KARMA FOR YOU!!! ;D Cause I am one of those short people and you might have been one of those really nice souls that let me stand in front of them!

One of the sites next to us set the ground on fire when they were trying to grill (It was their first year, haha . We helped them put it out. quote]
So I'm pretty sure that was my camp. Were you in Pu**y Galore? If so, then you definitely are looking at the retard who watched his dumb friend light the ground on fire. If it is indeed you, thanks. Again.

I think we were actually!
I wasn't there at the time, I had to go to the bathroom. But when I got back there was a huge black spot on the ground and my buddy told me what happened. Glad we/he helped you out. How was your weekend otherwise?

Other then that it was amazing. I can't wait to go back next year. In our effort not to pay for food, someone (all of us) were dumb enough to forget a spatula. Over the course of the weekend, we used forks, CDs, and tent spikes in space of that.
The only thing that killed me was the walk. That seemed like an ungodly distance away from Centeroo. Next year I would really like to go VIP. Oh well, no harm done.

We were a lot closer last year, but I think it worked out better in the end. I stayed in Centeroo much more than in 2006 and saw much more music. The year before we were so close that we could clearly hear the music, so a lot of the time we would just chill at the site. It was still pretty damn fun, but in the end I guess it just depends on what you want.
