The National are one of my top ten live bands ever... just watch some Youtube videos of both bands live. Should give you an idea of what show is more worth it. I love Interpol and have been a fan of them for much longer but would still choose The National.

(If at all) All things being equal, I'd choose The National. They sound great live plus usually have some pretty good banter between songs.
