Is it going to be one or two stages? I think I might go because if I see the Strokes and Cold War Kids, that's two less potential Roo conflicts I have to worry about. Plus Crystal Castles was probably my biggest surprise from Roo '09 (Knew nothing about them going in.. was gonna see PE and some girl told me to stay after Phoenix).
Probably gonna have to sell my Arctic Monkeys tix to pay for it .

My friend who I went to roo with last year just told me about this fest and I'm very tempted to go because A) my friend cant make it to roo and B) I really wanna see the Strokes. It's a great lineup for only $55.

Bump. Going to check this out tomorrow. Just got tickets off craigslist for $30 each. So there's still tix out there if anyone's on the fence. This zimride thing they have on there is dope too, easy to find a ride. Looking forward to the first outdoor show of the year! Never been to MPP before, getting excited...

I agree, great price for what you're getting. I would definitely go if I lived a little closer to the area.
I just bought a ticket for this. Would anyone in the baltimore area be willing to give me a ride? I'm having minor car battery issues and I'm hesitant to take it out

I thought it was great. I went for The Srokes and they did not dissapoint. Girl Tak, Crystal Castles and Theophilus London were really good as well. I'd never been to the Merriweather Post Pavilion and I thought it was a nice venue. There was some rain, but it let up eventually.
