My name is Kevin, I'm 20yrs old, from West Hartford, CT and I was considering flying down for my 4th Roo this year but it's so damn expensive. Last year I went with 2 other people and the drive wasn't bad at all. Anyone interested in carpooling? I'm hoping to have fun on the ride down but keep somewhat under control (a.k.a. responsible driving is a must) We would probably head back early Monday morning but maybe Sunday night if anyone is up to it.

Dude, I'm not going this year, but I'm also from CT (West Hartford, actually), and after driving to Bonnaroo 02, 03, 04, I flew for 05, 06, 07, 09, and it's not that expensive. The round trip ticket is like 300. Think about how much gas would cost, and how much time you save (rather than leave Wednesday morning, you can fly out Thursday morning and be in Nashville for 10:00), the hassle you save...it's well worth it. Trust me on this. There's a daily flight out of Bradley to Nashville, leaves at like 7:00 a.m., gets in at 10:00 a.m. It's out of Southwest, look into it.
I hear you on that. I flew down in 08 but I figure if I can get a carpool going it'll be about the same and I don't really like how flying limits how many bags/tents/EZ ups I can bring....

You are correct at my time of posting when I typed bdl and Hartford nothing was coming up. I used to live in West Hartford too and used to use southwest as well so I was shocked to see it missing. Where in west Hartford were/ are you guys from? The only thing I don't miss about that town are the cops and the crime. I lived on 711 Farmington ave and on Loomis drive... I miss the days at Loomis though... I'm actually overdue for a visit now that I think of it

Hey everybody, me and a friend are first-time Rooers from the middle of CT. We have room for two more people and was looking for 1-2 cool people to carpool with. Both of us are pretty chill 20 y.o. bros that are down for some good fun on the trip to & from.
