Was there any news I missed that made Phish any less likely than Radiohead? I thought the only strength either of them had was the "mom on a train" story.

Dirty Jerzee said he heard something about Radiohead in talks, but nothing on Phish. That and no word from a lot of people on here who are in the "community" makes me think they're not going to play this year.

Well they will probably be on tour which is more info than we have about Radiohead.

You said you had heard something by this time in 09 right?
Yeah, but that does not mean much. I never went back to zoe this year and that is were I usually met the guy I know. It is possible though I do not know how likely. There are a lot of bands up there that are just as unlikely at this point though.

Oh, that's great. I kept hearing that he knew some information about one of the rumors being semi-valid, but never knew which one. That info just made my pre-sale purchase that much better, even though it's still a rumor.

Amen. At this point, I don't know what makes anyone expect radiohead, beyond pure hope. Even more so when the band has recently said they have no plans to tour till the album is done.

Yeah. I'm still holding out hope. The only other possible "jam" headliner that I can think of is Further, and even though they headlined OSL it doesnt correlate into a 'roo headliner. Tenacious D proved that the year before. But I have nothing more than a want at this point.

So you don't think Buffalo Springfield could be the jam headliner in 2011? I mean if DMB could fill that role last year...
