I might be messing up with this but when I download the iPhone proboards app and I search for inforoo I can't find us. Am I doing something wrong or has inforoo not registered for the app or something? I would love to use the app for inforoo
I remember having an issue with that originally too. I have searched through my PM's and emails and can't find what I did. I remember it took a week or so for me to figure it out. crazykittensmile made a new one a long time ago so if you see a inforoo board with three posts, thats the wrong place.
On my app (I have the full version, but used the light for a little bit) The forum name is: "@ inforoo.com&trade" without the quotes. I will keep digging and let ya know if I find out what I did. You may want to send a message to an administrator too to see if there is an unofficial name that proboards gave inforoo in computer/internet talk.
Here is what you do for the iPhone: Download the proboards app (lite) and migrate to the "forum" tab on the bottom. Click the + sign at the top and type in "bonnaroo". Press the GO button and it should be set up!

I have been having issues lately with mine. On startup or refresh I get "Server plugin out of date" or "Unknown message recipient" Yall know if this is an inforoo thing, a ProBoards thing or just the app being crappy? Anyone else getting em?

Mine is doing the same thing. It seems like it started the last time there was an update, because it used to work perfectly. I have the free app. The Dale Gribble paranoia in me makes me think that they purposefully screwed up the free app to convince us to pay for the full app...but I have no idea if the full app has been screwing up, too.

It has been, yes. The message I got about the server plug-in being out of date was telling me that the forum administrator needed to refresh them, something along those lines. I haven't been able to get that one again, but if I do ill post it up here to see if they are talking about Inforoo admins or ProBoards admins.
edit: I just sent our admins here a PM about this to see if it something with Inforoo or Proboards or where we need to take this issue.

If you have experienced the "Plugin Not Available" error, you can fix this issue by taking the following steps:
1) Exit the application 2) Double tap your iPhone's home button to bring up the process list 3) Hold down your finger on the ProBoards App until the icons start to shake 4) Click the red "minus" button at the top left corner of the ProBoards App 5) Click your iPhone's home button and relaunch the application
We are still looking into exactly what the root cause of this error is. If you are able to reproduce this error, we would appreciate any details that you can give us.
That is basically just restarting the app. An update was released in the past day or two. They have changed/upgraded a few things which I like. I have been getting far fewer error messages and when I do, a simple page refresh seems to do the trick. There is still something up with the "server plug-in" being out of date or needing to be updated though, just not nearly as bad. Looks like ProBoards has been working on this, its better, but not flawless like it was.
I downloaded it to my android phone, and no matter what I searched for, I could not find inforoo. I deleted it before the 15 minute trial was up so I got a full refund.
If anyone with the new android app has it working, can you tell me what to search for? I used inforoo, bonnaroo, festival, everything I could think of.

I had the same issue on my android as well...and I am using android 2.2 even

downloaded today and it works fine for me.
With as much as I obsessively follow these boards I think it'll be worth the $2.99. It's difficult to read posts in my phone browser. It's difficult to get zoomed in to a point where you can actually read text, but not cut off sentences.
