No way. I had to buy tent stakes last year because I forgot them. Spent like $25 on them. If I forget something this year I'll just take a shuttle to Wal-Mart. Although, I don't shop at Wal-Mart either. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.
I think this is completely useless and will fo sho get in the way of my room to awesomely dance!
I like your thought process. Its all about priorities. I am not a big dancer but who knows maybe roo will change that.
I totally agree I heard of prices of other stuff and I cant imagine what the prices on camping gear will be. It is expensive enough at regular stores outside of roo.

Are these the same people who rent out the onsite RVs? If so...I almost keeled over when I saw their markup. And that's BEFORE you get there. I can only imagine their prices will be a bit crazy.
That said... if you forget or break something small and crucial (tent stakes maybe?), especially if you're flying in and can't carry duplicates of stuff, I could see it being useful...in a VERY limited way.
I can't see this being good. If you're on the farm you're not really making any major equipment purchases are you? Maybe they'll give something cool away or have air conditioning!!!

Maybe for people that are flying in?
If I'm not mistaken, Glastonbury has it arranged where you can order your camping equipment and then pick it up onsite. Maybe Roo wants to head in that direction?

agreed - any purchases made would be on a MUST NEED EMERGENCY basis and nothing short of it! that leno is going to be so expensive!

You can walk into Glastonbury wearing your clothes and buy everything you need to camp for 5 days at normal prices. The only thing they didn't have on site was bulk beer and cider cases. Most people just left it in their car and would haul it back in throughout the festival. Lots of warm cider was drank there.
I am hoping prices won't be crazy inflated and that they do follow glastonbury's lead on being able to pick up stuff at the festival. I ended up getting a water jug there for about $7.
The question here is whether it will be inflated prices.
They should just have cigs, beer, and ICE, In very very very excessive portions and not drive the price through the roof.. The only way i see this place being useful is for them to have the things people run out of and have it at a reasonable price. 10$ cigs 60$ case of beer and 7$ half bag of ice was the only thing that pissed me off this past roo, if the store buys these three items in bulk and only mark it up 10-15% i think they could easily make a killing without killing the festival goers wallets.
As somebody who is flying in I can see this being useful to a degree. We are already stopping at a Walmart in Antioch(10 minutes from Nashville airport) and hope to get everything there but it wouldn't surprise me if I had to make a few purchases from Camp World. Hopefully not many because I am sure prices will be ridiculous.

It's been that expensive fer those items every year I've gone since '07. Honestly I've just planned ahead and brought all of the beer and stupid cigarettes I would need. Ice got pricey, but I've continued to bring less things that need to be kept super cold so as to cut down on the amount of ice we need at camp.

Corporate greed can be bad. Camping World is one of the largest RV supply shops but you can also buy the same stuff other places. So....if CW tries to overprice their items at Bonnaroo I won't be shoping their regular stores...if their prices are good at roo maybe they gain some new customers at their regular stores.

doubt id ever even look for it, im there for the music. in 8 years i have yet to see a comedian other than conan mc and chris rock. i think one year we had to buy a $5 loaf of bread because somehow ours got wet or something silly but thats the extent of my roo supply shopping
