I'm planning on volunteering at Bonnaroo this year. My boyfriend was supposed to volunteer with me, but he has decided to be the Lamest Boy Alive and not attend. So I'm going alone like a champ. Are there any other volunteers going alone? Has anyone gone alone before? Or do any volunteers want to become my best friend and let me tent with them? I am slightly charming, in an awkward sort of way.
I will be volunteering and going alone as well! I'm sure I'll see you in the volunteer campgrounds but you can PM me to get my email if you want. codyryan posted the volunteering thread. You can meet other fellow volunteers on there and I'm sure many of us can share tents, etc if we dont have enough or dont all want to unpack our stuff only to have to move it later if we chose to. (I know I have a 6ish person tent that may need sharing or to share someone else's tent until I move out of volunteer camping if I do tollbooth)
Another idea is to look in This Tent's threads (http://bonnaroo.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rides) to find people from your area and then ask if others from your area are volunteering and want to carpool and whatnot.

Can any previous POD volunteers share what the deal is with POD camping? I've heard you have to camp at an area designated for the POD you're assigned to work in. Are there many other volunteers at the POD sites or is it a lonely deal? What about campsite size? I have an SUV with a tent that attaches to the back of it, so between the car and the tent, I'm stretching about 28 feet. Is that doable? Thanks for any info!!!
