So does anyone think that they will make a "Live From Bonnaroo 2007" movie? I know they have made them for years previous. I think that we really need one this year, there were some awesome performances that went down!! Im still waiting for a 2006 movie as well!
I wouldn't expect anymore festival DVDs from Bonnaroo. They may make a compilation video later down the road combining many Roos, but the annual DVD releases are over and have been since 2005. I'm not sure the first 3 sold that well, so they dropped the series.
HOWEVER, there is a DVD in the works for Radiohead's full performance from 2006. Release date and other specifics currently unknown.
That sucks... i REALLLY like the Bonnaroo DVD's. I can't believe they wouldn't sell at least 80,000 copies a year. They shouldn't mass produce them, but maybe make about 100,000 and sell them on their website.
Either way, there was no way i ever would have gone to bonnaroo without watching those dvd's. I hope they either keep making them, or through some sort of a compilation out there.
There are a few videos of full sets that look like the official webcasts (profanity muted out and everything) floating around on the web. I've seen Roots and Brazilian Girls full sets with official cameras and such on torrents and am sure more are out there. You could probably build your own DVD if you were so inclined.

I dont understand the decision not to make one. Besides personal reasons of wanting to have a DVD of the years I have been there (still waiting for 06) it seems like something that could build hype for coming years. I know we had the 02 dvd and that made us want to go in 06. I would love to show others how much fun it is and all the activites and just the environment of the fesitval and that would surely get others excited (or at least make us keep buying tickets)

There were definitely pro's filming in the campgrounds, in Centeroo, etc. Did anyone see the guy shooting around on the golfcart while another guy filmed? They were interviewing people, shooting video of the pods, etc. I'd be kind of dissapointed if they didn't make a DVD.
I emailed Superfly about the 2005 Bonnaroo DVD, and they said that it wasn't going to happen...I posted the email awhile back on one of these boards. Although, I do remember somewhere hearing that the 2007 DVD was going to happen...I don't remember where though.

I totally agree! thats a good idea...they should jusy make a few and sell them online or sell the previous years dvd at the fest. Those dvds r not only great cause of the sets but they show a little bit of the whole atmosphere of the fest and captures memories that i wish i could have. BRING OUR DVDS BACK!!!please
I think I saw something in a link someone posted to a story in billboard or another mag - that they said they had filmed and taped all the sets and that they had all the material back to 2002 and were in the process off making a decision of what to do with all of it

Wow!! well i hope they decide soon! they cant keep our footage from us forever hahahaha
i mean, it took them about a year to make the 2002 dvd, then more than a year to do the 2003 & 2004 dvd's. It's been more than 2 full years now, they should do a 2005 -2007 6 disc box set! so it's basically all the same as the previous 2 disc sets from 2002-2004.

I saw seomthing like that. I was exp[ecting to see it on the big screens (it looked like one of those current things) but it was someone interviewing people really just about Roo and talking about what was goin on.
