Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Just download the free track and you have voted. AND YOU GET A CHANCE TO WIN TWO VIP TICKETS!!! They are a very fun band, the only band in the top 100 to have entered with a "live" song instead of studio recording, and they really need your help!!!
So I saw this post and I wasn't going to say anything but then i saw you also posted it in the March Madness thread as well and i couldn't help myself. You spamming our board is going to make us vote for you. In fact it would deter me from voting for you. So please stop.

Can't say that potential spamming is not happening, but be most assured that I did not post to that particular thread, or thus did not mean to. All in good fun brother, just saw other bands do it, and lets be honest, playing at Bonnaroo can push men to great lows just for the chance. I will be sure to "cease and desist" at once, as my intention is purely in fun, not in the spirit of angering you or anyone else. Accept my apology, and get ready to Roo soon enough.
Peace, love, and Namaste from your friends, The Unawarewulves

No we don't have a vocalist, we just use the singer from Coldplay, and write all our lyrics from mixed together Radio head songs, so that way we sound bad and have lyrics that more sense than the original content from which we used!

Wow, Inforoo is the harshest place on the planet, more frigid than Hoth, less emotion for your fellow man than Vulcan, and with a core as hard and stoney as Pluto. I guess after the harsh criticism of two professional internet "blogthreaders" (people who blog and thread simultaneously since the invention of multiple tabs) we might as well pack up the bags and call it quits. Or, maybe we can just keep playing music if my bleeding and wounded pride can take it, because there 6 billion other people out there, and maybe they can give true criticism instead of trash talk. Even in the light of your critical nature, we at The Unawarewulves still love and hope to see you around!!!
I dont really think people disapproving of your terrible attempt at spamming your painfully mediocre band is "more frigid than Hoth." If you've ever had to defend yourself against a Wampa, you'd probably change your tune.

Sir, if you could see the scars I incurred that terrible day a Wampa murdered my lost love, you would not jest. And while admittedly yes our band is of mediocre quality (Whaaat, he agrees, I don't get it, no ghetto talk or overzealous mockery) we are an upstart band from a small town, with cheap equipment trying our best. While marketed as a live song, it is in face just the best recording we could get for our six piece band in the 3 days before the contest began. Trust me when I say that us, our friends, fans, and the other people who currently have us in 50th place in the contest (50 out of thousands and thousands of bands) know that we put on a kickass show, and when we record an EP, I will be happy to send each of you a free copy, in hopes that you will give some honest feedback. As for spamming, fuck that... spamming is advertising, its just that I'm poor so it is spamming... Facebook and Bonnaroo (AC and Superfly) are rich so it is advertising (and much more overly blatant). I apologized for stepping over a boundary, and thus life moves on since the world didn't stop abruptly as we were all swept into the abyss of space. Hope that yourselves, as well as other people here, can see some truth and sincerity in my words!!!

O.K i'm going to be helpful this time. Don't attempt to promote your band or to get shows unless you have. 1- A large following on a social networking site. 2- At least 1 quality recording
and also Inforoo is not the place to go, unless you are really putting all your efforts into this (which you are obviously not) because even then you will get torn apart by some.
Basically, if you're serious, present yourself professionally. So until you achieve that just stop.
-For your health.

That is the reason I didn't try to sign my band up for the Bonnaroo thing. We are good, but don't have much of a following and no recordings. We're just not ready.

To noage123: We are setting up quite a few shows in Athens, GA and in Asheville, NC... wouldn't say we are "touring" this spring and summer, but definitely will be around. Should be playing in Clemson SC, Atlanta GA, and maybe Raleigh NC over the next 4 or 5 months as well.
To JamBands67: Now that is true and honest feedback and I honestly appreciate it. A large following can be of importance, but Facebook doesn't rule the world, how do you think bands ever got noticed before. By getting out there and wading through those that didn't like them until they found those that did. The recording thing I can buy into, but just because we won't have our EP for about another month, seems a silly reason not to take a shot at something, and put our all into it. Trust me, we wanted to throw up a studio track, but you don't have one, so what? Move on with what you have!!! And I guess you could give yourself bad impressions, but at this stage impressions are impressions, hell even you can't say that you won't click on a link that says "Unawarewulves" now, even if it is just to see how "terrible" we sound and make fun of us for it! Thirdly, very obviously Inforoo is not for any band to use like this, or thus there is some hypocrisy unfolding. And your term just stop is the thing that should drive any real ambitious person to keep going, there are plenty of people to tell you to stop, but what matters if you listen and do it or listen and keep pushing on! Though in summary, I do at least appreciate the way you really feel opposed to flashy talk!! Thanks and namaste friend!!!

If you ever come through Wilmington NC let me know. I always try to see local NC bands (especially since I am in one).

Noage123: I mean this as a true friend, don't ever let any opportunity slip by you ever!!! While our recording wasn't what we wanted we still find ourselves at 50th place, which is a testament to the fans that we do have for getting the message out there. So while we may not get feedback on how much people like our music (which I promise is good, as I said earlier in the post, I will get every person on this post a copy of our Demo/EP, if they provide me some way to contact them or come back to this page in a month or two) but we do have a dedicated fanbase, not a large, cheap, and undedicated one or we wouldn't be as high as we are. Shoot for the stars brother!!! Also I would love to hear some of your band (even bad quality recordings) as we are just on the other side of the state, maybe we could get together. I also know quite a lot of bands in Asheville so I could pass you on as someone to get in contact with if they head eastward. Peace!!!

Noage123: I really like, it sounds like a gritty story telling mixed with some folksy yet driving guitar riffs. It is definitely very unique, and feels good to listen to. You at least have one more fan in that quest for the huge social network fan base that is recommended. Are you guys playing any shows anywhere closer than Wilmington over the next few months?

We all work, so usually just stay in Wilmington. We get a lot of shows here though. Thanks for the plus one fan. I'll do you a favor and send my vote your guys way.

Noage123: That means a lot, and one way or another we will catch up with one another for a celebration of music and life brother!!! I will be keeping in touch with you guys on Facebook and wish you all nothing but the best!!! We will get to Wilmington one way or another, we will keep an ear out for you all, and we definitely will not promote our band on Inforoo for the rest of the universe's cycle!!! Peace!!!
You at least seem to be semi-intelligent so I will simply apologize for inferring your lack of Wampa knowledge and suggest that maybe you guys regroup and focus on getting a small following and some solid recordings to try and be at NEXT years Bonnaroo. I understand your enthusiasm because I am a musician as well, but it seems to be doing negative work for you guys spamming on this site, even if it wasn't your intention.

Well maybe make a thread and leave it alone next time instead of posting random crap about your band in every thread. All of us on here like music but if you try to shove it down our throats there will be a push back. That being said good luck to you, but stop spamming the board.
