Taco Bell has just come out with a taco and the shell is made entirely out of Nacho Cheese Dorito. It is just one big chip! Usually i like to take a sack of White Castles in my cooler for Thursday/Friday morning. You want to see haters roll down shakedown snacking on White Castles. This year I am switching it up and getting a dozen of them for my cooler.

Beef jerky and fruit. We've survived for a week basically on that combo at festivals before. Probably mix up a 5 gallon jug of Gatorade for the morning electrolyte boost as well.

Normally we pack a huge bowl before we pull the huge bowl out of the cooler! I don't know if I can correctly recall the recipe from memory. If I don't pm it to you by tomorrow send me a message. I'm super forgetful!

I saw that pc on the taco bell menu but thought volcano taco shell! The dorito shell sounds good. I am eating a Taco Salad from TB right now. My sack lunch was a salad from home but this sounded better when a co-worker decided to make the trip there.

I live on beef jerky at Bonnaroo. We make our own before we leave. I like the powder gatorade better than the bottled.
I always bring cheese sticks and mandarin orange cups too.
PBJ, Clif/Luna bars, fruit, pretzels, goldfish, gatorade and Coke Zero. oh yeah, and gorp.
Would love to figure out how to keep bananas good as they are such a superfood with restorative powers. Problem is, I don't like to eat them overripe.
i buy green then ive been using rubber bands and keeping them hung in the front of the car with us till we get where were going. if its a long trip we usually have them half way through, they never make it to get over ripe

I wonder if dehydrated/dried bananas would be just as magical. They certainly would keep easily. Food dehydrators can be obtained really cheap or I have a friend that I can maybe borrow one from. I know that you can buy dried bananas but wonder about preservatives and other weirdness....thoughts, anyone?

Dried fruit is not as tasty, but it is much easier on logistics.
Personally, the only interruptions to my cycle of garlic grilled cheese, samosa, spicy pie and bbq are random cereal bars. I just hit that aisle at the grocery and pick up what looks good. A good addition I had last year was those packets of kool-aid for 16.9oz water bottles. They provide a nice change from water.
