i was listening to the radio at work the other day when they were talking about buffalo springfield getting back on tour and playing roo and such. then they were saying in light of buffalo springfield being back on the road david crosby wants to get the byrds back together and go on tour with buffalo springfield. im curious as to what everyone here thinks. will the byrds make a surprise appearance at roo? will david crosby?
personally, i hope so, i caught cs&n at gathering of the vibes a couple years ago and would love to see neil and david go at it. please bonnaroo gods, make it happen.

If the Byrds were playing, it would not be a surprise. Bonnaroo would blow that up all over their website/twitter/facebook. It would be really cool if it happened though.
Infact, while I'm on the subject, McGuinn and Crosby together alone could probably constitute a bigger buzz than Crosby with the rest of The Byrds. Gene Clark would have been really nice too. Sucks that can't happen. Hillman/McGuinn/Crosby would be solid.
It's like Buffalo Springfield, I can forgive the lack of Bruce Palmer and Dewey Martin, but what would be the fucking point without Richie Furay?
Side note: Jim Messina would be excellent. Anybody know why he isn't doing it?
