I am a 58 yrs old male and a veteran of many fests. Nelson Ledges, Masontown, GOTV, etc etc, and I don't include the 60's and 70's madness in that statement. My question is, Will I be the oldest f*** there, other than Buffalo Springfield, and will I be able to "see" BS or will it be better to stay in the back with the hoopers and twirlers? I am coming from Pgh. and may be able to offer a ride if you are leaving Wed.
You will not be the oldest person there by far. There are people of all ages. You should be able to see Buffalo Springfield. Just get to the stage that they are playing on early and you should have no problem being right up front.

No way, dude. You will not be the oldest one there. From what I've seen the past four years, Roo is for all ages. Just turned the big 40 myself. Can't WAIT to get up to the Ledges this summer

Welcome, from a fellow Pittsburgher and Buffalo Springfield fan! This will be my first Roo but from hanging around here I get the feeling you will have no trouble at all, nor will you be the oldest by a long shot.
Definitely not the oldest and you have an advantage over a lot of the young folks...you know how to pace yourself. I'm 43 and was worried I would be the oldest but have seen people way into their 70's hanging at the farm. Have a blast!

I'm a little behind you-just a little! If you're going solo, pm me and maybe we can hang out some.

There'll be an estimated 70-80,000 people attending- granted the demographics lean heavily toward the 20-30 year olds but there are many 40 plus'er partiers. Check out the O'er 40 Roo'ers thread if you want to meet up. We'll be passing out buttons and Depends (so you don't have to use the dreaded porto-potties) Also there are a few of us older folks who go to the Inforoo brunch.
