Hi, Chuck, Bingobob, azzah...I am also going solo this year and looking for people to camp and hang with. It is my third Roo (06 and 07). I will be coming from DC and as of now, planning to drive making Camp Inforoo a little unlikely though I'm sure it would be an awesome group. I should get in Thurs afternoon and leave late on Sunday. Anyone intested in meetin up?
I will be solo, if I can convince my mom to let me go. She thinks it is a big rape/drug-fest and I will get targeted since I'm alone or I will be arrested being that I am on probation. lesigh

We are from the awesome state of TEXAS as well. haha.
This is my fourth roo (1,2,9, and now 10), but I'm an older single guy and most my age just have no clue, and certainly no tolerance for the elements, so for the second year, I'm going alone.
I'm from FL, but in Memphis working (write computer software), so for this year and probably next, I'm just too damn close to not go.
If I, being older, can fit in going solo, then all you fine peoples will fit right in....no worries, Bonnaroo isn't an event, it is an experience.
The only bad part for me is having to buy tickets way in advance, and then have no one to be excited with.....I'm surrounded by non-rooers, who basically think I'm nuts.....lol.

This will be my 6th straight Roo, and due to monetary issues everyone has bailed on me too...though the 'core' group was only three anyways. So I'll be going solo as well. Sure as quack better than not going.
But....I'm from Nashville and I'll be goin in wed evenong or early thursday. Depends on how my work goes wed. (last wed i got stuck working a 13.5 hr day) . If that happens again it may be early thurs so i can get one last decent rest. Then again, i may really need to get to the farm stat!
Anyways...I was wondering if any other solo roo'ers driving in wanted to meet up and drive in together so we could camp together. That way we can share room and stuff...and help keep eyes on our camps. I might even be open to a rider in my car...but the integra's gonna be packed pretty tight so it might depend on gear.
II thought about camp inforoo....but not sure if i wanna leave the security of vehicle camping. I like having a locked vehicle to keep valuables in, and i really don't think i wanna lug all my gear.
So any other solo roo drivers wanna meet up and go in together? Hell if we can get a convoy we could set up a solo roo'er camp area where we could all mingle,etc.
i know lots of people say rooing solo is great....and its not like i'm not a roo vet now, I'm just anxious about how it will be. I'm mostly worried about the morning downtime, etc......when me and crew would sit around talking about the day/night before and the day/night ahead. And like when it's blazin ass hot and you just hang at camp a bit in the shade cause you got some time between shows you wanna see, etc. I dunno....maybe it'll be my best Roo ever....we'll see.
