So, last year we made the road trip out to the bonnaroo and it was amazing being on the road. Took us four days there, and three days back, and we took different routes both ways so we could have had a bigger spread of the US to see.
Well, funds this year were not looking ideal, and with gas prices, and the realization that I'd only have two in my car... we needed cheaper transportation.
SO me and my buddy THIS year... we are going to take the greyhound to Nashville, where we will rent a car and head out to bonnaroo. We are taking a flight back.
Anyone else ever greyhounded for that long? Any advice?

I went from Georgia to Texas and there where a lot of people traveling to Cali, seems like the Cali people were the nicest friendliest most talkative on the bus which was great at restroom stops. I just slept while on the bus, personally.
It's cheaper and more effective to just fly into Knoxville and greyhound from there.. Greyhound for over 48 hours sounds like the worst way to go to Bonnaroo
Why dont you take the train down from LA to SD then Carpool in my minivan with the GF and I.... Sounds like it might be more fun.... I pulled the seats out and put in memory foam for a floor. hit me up
But, if you absolutely have no other way of getting there, then make sure to arrange it so you'll arrive well before the festival gets underway. Long story short, I took a bus trip from Boston to Denver a few years ago; well, I ended up missing a connection, got rerouted all over the place, and got there several days after I'd expected to.
