Some friends of mine went last year and they said it was the best fest experience they have ever had. Last year there were less than 1,000 people and it is in a campground. However, that was LAST YEAR. This year, there are bigger names and tickets have doubled in price. I still wanna go just bc it is like 45 minutes away but I don't know if I can handle the crowd that may be there.
Has anyone else noticed a drastic change in the electronic crowds the past few years?
By drastic changes, I mean you mean all the fake GDF and 18 year old spunion-wooks that "run shit". Electronic scene is weak right now because of all the brosteppers and mahled out kids. I had friends that went to Dexfest last year, and they REALLY liked it, but these guys get down pretty hard and this is there kinda fest. Friends that went that weren't all hetty wraps and hat pins thought the whole thing was a lil too far gone and that they saw things on the ground you don't wanna see anywhere you might be barefoot, I'll leave it at that.
One really cool thing about Dexfest I've been told though, is that you can rent jet skis are haul ass around the lake right near where bands are playing.
