More Info Halfway to Forecastle is a mini-fest designed to celebrate celebrate and commemorate the “Halfway” point to the annual Forecastle Festival, whose 10th Anniversary will be hosted in 2012 at Waterfront Park. Now in its 4th year, the event features many of Forecastle’s trademark components in smaller proportions, situated in a non-traditional venue. The past three have sold-out in advance, while continually upgrading to larger venues.

They always do a Halfway Fest, only it's usually in the winter. Funny that they're still calling this "Halfway" when it will be a full year away. Anyhow, Waterfront Park is a great setting for shows and I have very high hopes for this well-established fest; especially now that A.C. is involved. Was hoping to get another hometown MMJ set for the Halfway, but you can't win 'em all! Fingers crossed they'll be headlining the 10th anny next July. See ya there.

^ Yeah doesn't make much sense why they wouldn't.... I had a great time at this last year. Wish they were having a bigger lineup again.

The name makes perfect sense. Since they're not doing a full festival this year, the summer is the halfway point. One year after the last Forecastle, one year before the next one.
