I havent seen a thread on this, but there was so much to do and see besides all the music, I know I didnt get around to half the stuff they had set up. Would have liked to have gone in the cinema and comedy and jazzy "something else" tent too. The best for me was getting to play some XBox while tweaked out and lay up in one of those couches. Later came back and grooved on that dance floor....while watching a guy mix this music while synched up to the video playing behind him.
Caught "Electric Apricot:The Quest for Festeroo" in the Cinema Tent early Saturday morning this year. Saw Lewis Black in the comedy tent in '06 so didn't have to wait in line this year, but the comedy tent is worth the wait if you time it right and aren't missing anything too important to you. I had to wait about 3 hours in '06, but I went to his first show on Saturday and the only thing I regret missing was Buddy Guy, but then again you could hear him through the tent anyway, so it ended up being all good. Lewis actually stopped in the middle of a joke and said "I can't think because that's Buddy flippin' Guy over there." Classic Roo moment.

How did you hang long enough to wait 3 hours to see something? I wanted to see Stanton Moore but there was no way I was getting in there. I was pissed b/c he was in that tent.

After being outdoors and heatraped for days on end, I had one of the best naps of my life in the Current tent. The staff there was pretty nice too. We talked up some Ween.

I really wanted to see Lewis Black. I also got to watch a kick-ass game of ultimate frisbee while waiting and met some very cool folks in line. Getting into the comedy tent (or any enclosed tent) requires sacrifice. Fortunately I didn't have to sacrifice any must-see shows that year. Couldn't really say that this year.

Saw Lewis Black's first show this year...I would have waited in line 3 hours if I had to, but I only had to wait about and hour and a half. I am a huge fan of his, and it was the perfect way to kick off Bonnaroo.

Anybody go to the silent disco? That was one thing I wish I would have stopped by...esp. Sat night with the recreational chemistry flowing
My single favorite moment from Bonnaroo this year was my first ever trip into the silent disco. I got ahold of something new and started rolling....walked into the disco and "Rock The Casbah" was playing. It was so fun to take off my head phones and here everyone singing along.
I loved the art of such and such at night with all the fire acts, and of course Bonna Rouge (i hope they keep that tent) Yard Dogs Road Show is one of my favorite bands/groups - so much fun!
wish i had known about Flight of the Concords, i didn't really get into them until after 'roo! - that always happens with one group or another!!

yeah, the such and such was a big one to miss for me....I kept thinking , 'dayum, I ought to get over there'. I got to see it in that movie the guy posted on here. It seems like it was a bit of a blur now.... ....stimulation overload. I loved those smoke rings during the wh stripes. I dont think I saw Bonna Rouge..whats that?

I really wanted to catch The Philadelphia Experiment in Somethin' Else. I was in line but never managed to get inside the tent. At least I got to see ?uestlove rock out with The Roots

yeah, the roots were one of the best shows I saw...my sister got into phil exp. q-love played the 'drums' on her table..She said he just went off beating on everything and it was amazing.
yeah, whoever thought of the Arcade was right on..that was my favorite thing...a video game junkie
Me and my best grrl enjoyed the Solar Stage immensely. Smaller acts, some talks, and a few great big trees to spread out underneath and take a nap. It was sort of tucked away and never very crowded.

aarrrgghh...melty
Yeah the Arcade Tent was cool just to relax in. And that DJ you're talking about is Mike Relm!! He's awesome.
I loved, loved the Something Else tent. The Art of Such and Such was kick ass. Just all the art they had around at the stands was cool to check out. I had a good time looking at all the artistic things.
Anyone else see that guy with the hand drawn pictures that were just crazy and trippy body parts everywhere. I got his card and website, I'll post it up later..

Did anyone see the HUGE A** incense sticks? They are like a foot long and an inch in diameter. They are hilarious...I bought a sandalwood one and used it as a kind of walking stick. It smells great but its hard as hell to put out. I have to pound it repeatedly in a vase to get the coals off.
I saw Dave Attell. I was having a bit of heat stroke so we thought the AC at the comedy tent would be a good idea. We sat in line for over an hour, made a tent with my tapestry and the bars around the line. The AC was amazing, but more so was the blue and red lights and the sense of community. Everyone in there was so chill and happy and goofy together. Someone would say or do something funny and we would all giggle together and there were hundreds of people in there.
The comedy was less to be desired but that experience was one of the Roo-est for me - people sharing drinks and treats, bonding, just feeling the love as strong as the air conditioning.

i liked the free american spirit cigarettes, the relix magazine stand, the gibson guitar stand, but there's so many great bands there that i don't ever get to see everything in centeroo, bonnaroo should extend to a week long, i think if you had a week then you could probably see everything
