Thurs: Wander around see what strikes my fancy until School Of Seven Bells. Maybe wander over to Best Coast. Then Band Of Skulls, J.Cole, The Walkmen, Sleigh Bells, Twin Shadow, then maybe Deerhunter or the 420 Comedy Blaze.
Fri: Graveyard, either Phosphorescent or Comedy Theater, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals/Matt & Kim (tough conflict!), Atmosphere, The Decemberist's, Ray Montagne, Florence + the Machine, My Morning Jacket, Primus, Arcade Fire, Black Angels, Pretty Lights, Ratatat/Shpongle
Sat: Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears, Old Crow Medicine Show, Deer Tick, Donald Glover w/Bill Bailey, Portugal.the Man, Omar Souleyman, Man Man, Wiz Khalafia, Mumford and Sons, Devotchka, The Black Keys, Buffalo Springfield, Eminem, Bootsy Collins, then run over to Scissor Sisters and hope to hear some Dr. John with the original Meters on my mad dash. Latenight sucks until Gogol Bordello. Hopefully still have energy.
Sun: Railroad Earth/The Head and The Heart (another conflict), Mavis Staples, Junip, maybe squeeze in some Galactic, Iron & Wine, Explosions In The Sky or Dan Auerbach and Dr. John.

So far my best-case-senerio schedule is:
Thursday: Chris Harford & the BoC Karen Elson Lots of tent hopping after her and then eventually the VIP show
Friday: Sharon van Etten/Jessica Lea Mayfield (tough choice) Bela Fleck Matt & Kim (sorry Juggs) Wanda Jackson Del McCoury/Pres. Hall Jazz Band Primus Arcade Fire Black Angels
Saturday: Black Joe Lewis Old Crow Deer Tick Omar Souleyman Chris Harford (sonic stage) Loretta Lynn Black Keys Buffalo springfield Dr John Gogol Bordello
Sunday: Head and the Heart Mavis Staples Daniel Lanois Gregg Allman Robert Plant Superjam collapse in exahuastion
John: We don't even understand our own music Spider: It doesn't, does it matter whether we understand it? At least it'll give us . . . strength John: I know but maybe we could get into it more if we understood it
I cannot believe all the candyasses in this thread who want to see stuff like Bela Fleck, Warren Haynes, Matt & Kim, or Grace Potter over the likes of Kylesa and the Sword. That sh*t is soft like baby thighs, you people need to tighten up and reexamine your lives.
Haha. Bela Fleck and Victor Wooten's bass owns Kylesa. Warren Haynes and the Sword? Warren's solos would slay them.
From the metal tent, I'm definitely gonna check out Graveyard and catch a lil bit of Opeth after bouncing from Grace Potter, Haynes, and Atmosphere. A stacked part of the day, that's for damn sure.
An' yo, if you a dude and you seein Wiz Khalifa you straight out producin ovums nah mean. Ambrosia salad thru yo' speakers namsayin

ok, i understand Roo virgins, but for those of you that have done Roo more than once.... do you really ever stick to your schedule? sure it is nice to daydream about the optimal day of music while you sit in A/C bored of playing solitaire at your desk.... but does that ever work out for you in reality? I remember my first year I was like a rabbit late for a tea party the first day, then i said screw it and went for the mad hatter approach. sure, every year there are a handful of bands i make sure i see, but all that time and effort spent on trying to experience everything all at once made for a less enjoyable bonnaroo IMO.

I couldn't have asked for a better schedule. I might be stressing conflicts if I hadn't already caught Robert Plant and Big Boi recently. The Sunday conflict is killer but the Superjam is too rare of a set to miss, and I think The Strokes and EITS will be around long enough for me to catch them in the future.

Thursday: Lewis Black (6:00-7:15) Best Coast (7:15-8:15) J.Cole (9:00-10:00) Sleigh Bells (10:15-11:15) Beats Antique (11:45-1:00) The Other Tent on Thursday night will be crazy. It's a shame I have to miss Deerhunter, but total spectacle may beat it.
Friday: 420 Comedy Blaze (12:30-1:45) Bela Fleck & the Flecktones (2:00-3:15) The Sword (3:30-4:45) Opeth (5:15-6:30) Back to camp time, thank deity I've seen MMJ. Then camping out at the Which Stage Primus (9:15-10:45) Arcade Fire (11:00-12:30) Bassnectar or Big Boi (12:30-2:00) I have no idea. This conflict is as bad as Sunday for me. Shpongle or Ratatat (2:30-?) Depends on conflict part 1
Saturday: Black Joe Lewis (12:30-1:30) Hanggai (2:15-3:15) Chiddy Bang (3:30-4:45) or Gary Clark Jr. (4:00-4:50) I'll decide if I want rap or blues then. Portugal. The Man (5:00-6:15) Mumford & Sons (6:15-7:45) Taking a much needed camp break most of the Black Keys (8:00-9:30) Buffalo Springfield (9:30-11:00) Eminem (11:00-12:30) Bootsy Collins (12:30-1:45) Girl Talk (2:30-4:00) Thanks to the clusterquack on Friday night, my Saturday night turned out pretty easy since I've already seen Gogol.
Sunday: G. Love (12:30-1:45) If I'm conscious. Gypsyphonic Disko (2:00-2:30) Bruce Hornsby (2:45-4:00) Galactic (4:00-5:00) Gregg Allman (5:00-6:00) ... Then.... Uhhhmmmm.... I guess I'll do Beirut (6:15-7:00) Explosions (7:00-?) Superjam (?-8:30) Widespead Panic
Seriously though, that conflict is in the running for worst conflict in 5 years. Saturday night in 07 with Flaming Lips, Girl Talk, Govt Mule Superjam, and Galactic Rap Battle is also in the running.
My Bonnaroo Schedule: Thursday: Freelance Whales ---> Band of Skulls ---> The Walkmen ---> Deerhunter ---> The Band of Heathens
Friday: Phosphorescent ---> Grace Potter & the Nocturnals ---> The Decemberists ---> My Morning Jacket ---> Arcade Fire ---> Bassnectar
Saturday: Alberta Cross ---> The Low Anthem ---> Deer Tick ---> Portugal. The Man ---> Munford & Sons ---> Buffalo Springfield ---> Dr. John with the Original Meters ---> STS9
Sunday: The Head and the Heart ---> Ryan Bingham ---> Amos Lee ---> Iron & Wine ---> Robert Plant and the Band of Joy
There are some major ass burning conflicts, namely The Black Keys, but I still managed to put together a non-overlapping schedule that included my must see acts. Friday is definitely the strongest for me, The Decemberists, My Morning Jacket from the pit line, then Arcade Fire, right up front. Saturday is also gonna be great, as much as I hate completely skipping The Black Keys, I am doing so to HOPEFULLY have a great spot for Buffalo Springfield, STS9 at 2am will also be much fun. Sunday is a great way to end the festival for me, Iron & Wine, followed directly by Robert Plant.
Saturday: Black Joe Lewis->Old Crow->Deer Tick/Alison Krauss->Portugal. The Man->Mumford&Sons->!!!->Black Keys->Burlesque->SCI/Scissor Sisters->Gogol Bordello/Girl Talk (probably Gogol)
Sunday: Smith Westerns->Ryan Bingham->Aunt Martha->Cold War Kids->EITS->WSP
Slashes are for game-times decisions or issues that require further thought. I've always been on the side of full sets over seeing more artists.

Why do people keep insisting there's huge conflicts during the Black Keys? They play 8:00-9:30. The only bands that crossover with them are !!! (7:00-8:30), DeVotchKa (7:00-8:30), Cristina Black (8:00-8:50), Deas Vail (7:45-8:30), Andrea Belanger (8:15-8:45), Beautiful Girls (9:00-9:30) and Tristen (9:20-10:10). You can still catch the first hour of !!! or DeVotchKa, if those are the ones you're worried about.
