Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I was wondering if its possible to report as we land in the section we will be camping in on a thread here. We could list the time we got through the gate, the wait time in line, which entrance we came in and where we ended up.
This may help us next year in planning what time to get there, and people riding in can wait to hear reports that BFE is filled before getting in line? that kind of thing.

^^^^^what he said....
I for one disconnect all communication devices once I set foot on the farm and make the obligitory phone call to the man & children to let them know I made it... after that, the next call I make is 4 days later when I am getting back on the road heading home
I'm in. Smartphones are pretty common and I'm sure plenty of inforoo members would appreciate the live info. Do it right as you park and start unpacking and it can be one of the last technological actions before 4 days of disconnection. It will indeed help people decide when to get in line. The first Inforoo member in can start the thread
Not a bad idea. I do not have a smart phone so it won't be me but..
All in all it will likely be of limited help as when and where the put campers varies every year (except filling BFE across Woodland Ave first) so what they did last year or do next year will have no relationship.
And also unless you're willing to get out of line and wait to see that they are now filling a "good" area, real time is not affected. Plus they fill several areas at once and likely by the time you get word and get there it will have changed
Still a nice way to see what's up and as good a way as any for each of us to to feed the Roo monkey on our respective backs.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

This could be fun if we used Twitter with a certain hashtag like #MyRooAddy or something. That way I could take a picture of my flag, tell what Camp I'm in, and fellow Roo-ster's can stop by and have a corn feast!
EDIT: I'll be in RV camping rolling in around 1am. Look for my flags and give out a corncat yell! I would love to meet some more fellow Inforoo'ers!

I have to leave work now so I don't have time to look, but there is a twitter thread where this is discussed as recently as last week so it should be in the first two pages of a forum. Check it out. I am not too active.. but I am on the site.

I think I ended up making a thread like this last year when I finally got to our camp site. If you've got a smart phone, I'd just check this forum on the way down.
