If we are camping in vip and driving a few people down who are camping in general camping, how can they get in when we part ways outside the festival? Thanks

From what I understand - since they can't go in the VIP entrance with you (We may have the same issue with some GA friends, since we're going VIP) - they likely will have to try to catch a ride with someone also going in GA. Otherwise, the walk in, with their gear, would be brutal. You - and us - may be able to find someone at the Wal-Mart willing to help.
My suggestion would be to drop them off as close as you can with minimal gear (maybe a tent and/or tarps to stake some turf). It may be a good hike, but it probably beats waiting in line for hours and hours to get it. Then you can drive in the VIP entrance with all of the gear. Once inside you can meet them by the VIP entrance by the arch. It's not too far to lug their gear to Tent Only from there.
