Just a quick question, I've been reading a lot and haven't seen anything about this.
In the normal camping (not tent-only), will it be a problem leaving Sunday around 2pm to make it to Nashville to fly out? Are the sites set up in a structured way with lanes in-between each row of cars/tents?
You shouldn't have a problem although 2 pm is a little early. Just make friends with your neighbors and possibly tell the folks when you're rolling in, maybe they can put you at the end of a row to make it easier.

Easier said than done. Always seems everyone is to concerned about grabbing space. Don't think people are gonna just stop the land grab and make sure you get a spot convenient for your exit.
Chances are probably better than 50-50 that you'll be able to get out but no guarantees. Talk to the parking guys while they're parking you and maybe they can do something. But they're usually so busy they may be no help.
If if have to be able to leave you can always park in Day Parking and haul your stuff to Tent Only.

People will start leaving Sunday afternoon, so the later you can wait the easier it will be. We left in 2008 around 8pm Sunday and had to weave around the campground to find a path out, but in 2009, everyone around us had left so we just pulled right out about 7pm. So it really depends on how long your neighbors plan to stay and were you are in the camp. But be careful, a tent stake through the tire will slow you down quite a bit.
I definitely agree with trying to get on an end of a row or working something out with someone. I brought a Miata for 2 years and always left before the final act Sunday. Each time, getting out was like solving a jigsaw puzzle. Had to spend about 10 minutes finding a path. Under a tarp, around a trashcan, nearly scraping a car here and almost knocking down a tent there. Oddly, this year I'm in VIP and plan on staying through Monday morning.
I think the best thing you can do is ask the people parking if you can get on the end because your leaving early. If not it could be difficult getting out but the people who drove over our canopy in 07' didn't seem to mind much.
If you do leave early and my stuff is in your way, please just ask me to help you out. I'd rather put in 5-10 minutes work to move a tent or canopy then to come back to camp to find my shit has been destroyed.
i have always been able to get out on sunday. last year i left sunday morning. most people are nice and will move and even help you find a path. last year some bitch didnt want to move her shower tent and i had to get help from the roo people because she was blocking everyone from getting out with her shower tent. they came and moved it - took five minutes to move it over so people could get out. most people are NOT like that at roo. she had no business there in the first place. i felt sorry for the people who were camping with her - they looked totally embarassed
If you do leave early and my stuff is in your way, please just ask me to help you out. I'd rather put in 5-10 minutes work to move a tent or canopy then to come back to camp to find my Leno has been destroyed.

As Kanye said, only 1 year out of 4 have I had trouble leaving during the Sunday headliner. Last year we thought there was no way, hopwever it seemed like everyone did the cortious thing and paked up Sunday Afternoon before going into centaroo.
IF YOU ARE LEAVING SUNDAY, PLEASE PACK UP BEFORE YOU LEAVE FOR CENTAROO IN THE MORNING.
It's helpful for people around you leaving, in turn leaving you more space to leave yourself.

A cab will charge you at least anywhere between $75 to$100.00 per person to get you to the airport or that it is what they have done in prior years. I can get you to the airport for $30 per person. E-mail davisdeborah85@yahoo.com or call me 615-785-5360.
