I know a lot of people sport hydration backpacks so I wanted to share some info I have on a particular class of backpack I think is good for Bonnaroo.
The reason I looked into it is my bag is getting worn out and it is time to replace it. I wanted to find out what else was out there in a similar class.
My old bag is a Camelbak Blowfish which is a two pocket hydration backpack. I got it off craigslist years ago. The Blowfish is somewhat unique as it has has a zipper that you can unzip to expand the bag from 14 to 18 liters.
I think that 14 liters is the minium size appropriate for distance bonnaroo'ing. Room for snacks, essentials and you can stuf clothing in it when you unzip it.
Anyhow, I looked hard at what other bags there were to compete with it and made this spreadsheet in google docs. Most are classified as biking (esp. mt biking) bags.
I will probably end up just getting a new blowfish, however Osprey offers two packs that would also be great. You might still be able to order one of these online, but you can track them down at an REI too.

i plan on brining my normal backpack. at Dick's Sporting Goods i found a 3 liter container with the camelback type hose coming off of it. This way i can have a good amount of storage space and keep hydrated. i have no hands on experience with camelbacks but they seem like they dont hold much besides the water container.
