Trying to score a ride from somebody in Florida. I've carpooled up there before, and am a great guest. I bring plenty for myself and some extras just in case, donate to GAS, food, and anything to help the ride go smoothly.

Hello! I too and leaving Wed. Coming back Mon.... by way of grgrayhound I know I know.... its not as exciting as car pooling but the grayhound there from Tampa was only $200 round trip! And if you sign up for some grayhound reward club you yet 10% off the trip!! Also its a short walk (from what I read) and driving apparently requires LONG wait times (from what I read) its my first time going and my ride decided to sell her ticket so I'm going to too solo... (you don't get more adventurous than that!) Any hoo. If you can't find a ride ill see you on the grayhound!!!

LOL enidm6 you sound like a greyhound advertisement. I've looked into that, but I'd much rather carpool. There's gotta be somebody with an extra seat that wants to pay less for gas. I tell really bad jokes but give really good karma!!!
If you can get to Ocala, my husband and I are leaving Wednesday morning and then making a stop in Macon to meet up with friends and then continuing up to the farm. We plan to leave Sunday night and probably get a hotel room somewhere outside of Manchester and then continue the trip Monday, that is if we can get out Sunday night...

If any of you wanna caravan, I started a thread trying to start one. Not much as of yet, but it'd be cool to have a bunch of vehicles rolling up. We are leaving Wednesday afternoon. Probably hit I75 at lake city around 4:30-5. Message me if interested. It should be fun if we can get one together.

Yay! More Ocala people! I was just telling my husband the other day that there has to be other people going to Roo from Ocala. We'll be on the road about the same time Scrog.

I'm going to head out the day before and stay with my sister in GA on Wednesday until 2ish, then start off. I wanna get there early because I have to leave early on Sunday I'd love to give someone a ride, but tiny car + leaving early= lone trip lol

Scrog and other Ocala people thanks for the invite. I'm gonna keep you all in mind, but ideally I'd like to save the gas and find someone here in Orlando. We are getting closer and closer so, I'm definitely trying to lock something down soon.
Jonsteelson, I am leaving from Altamonte, but not until 3am Friday Morning.. I Have to work Thursday night. I have plenty of room. I would expect a split on gas cost tho. I know you mentioned you didn't want to pay just to drive to Ocala. -Sam
