I'm really sorry if this is already a thread but I'm just curious when people will be arriving... I always went in around 9-10pm on Wed night but now that they are opening up at 7pm on Wed when will be the time to beat the rush/not be obnoxiously early?
This will be my first 'Roo so I don't speak from experience... simply research from reading all the threads on this board, but I plan on arriving Thursday morning as well. My guess is we will get in line sometime around 7-9 in the morning.
I have a feeling most people will be arriving thursday morning around the same. exact. time. It blows, especially for people like us driving 9 hrs straight to Roo. We're gonna sit in traffic for a long ass time I'm willing to bet.
A -teeny- part of me hopes that because of the wednesday night thing and this being sold out that a lot of people are gonna be like 'OMG WTF WE GOTTA BE THERE WHEN IT OPENS' and the thursday morning traffic might flow better.
From experience you can easily sit in traffic on Thursday 8 hours. Happened to us last year and we got in line at 7am. I am heading from Indianapolis at 6pm wed. And be there around midnight give and take for pit stops and carpool pickup in Kentucky..... and I figure we will still have traffic. I know there is a caravan from the Midwest going through indy at noon on Wednesday also.but with all the Wednesday traffic it should flow smoothly on Thursday morning.
