For those that want to keep their smartphones charged during Roo. I am taking these two devices with me.

I'm plasticpepper on Twitter too, but I don't know if I'll be doing as much tweeting this year as I have in the past. I've got a smart phone now which of course means absolutely atrocious battery life. I will certainly try to tweet when I can, but I pretty much expect my phone to spend more time dead than alive, so who knows.
I will be arriving down there a week earlier than most, and am planning on posting pictures of the farm as it progresses from a few hundred people to 80,000 in a matter of days....

@fightnerd (i'm not violent just a life long martial artist) i dont tweet much, mainly because no one follows me, but i def will give updates if you roosters follow me, i think i'm going in pretty early. my girl friend is @stellark

I am rideincircles and I may be updating from @indieverse blog over the weekend also.
As long as I can get a connection I will be using it when possible, I also have two spare iphone battery backups and everything needed to recharge them while there.
Twitter was entirely useful when waiting in line last time to get in, then I could barely connect during the busy hours of the day in 2009.
If you have an iphone 3g or 3gs, you should still be able to order this in time.
