Hey so this is my 3rd bonnaroo but its my first entering through the tollbooths (ive always went as a volunteer so we take the back way into the festival)
Is there a difference in closeness and overall entrance time if you take a different tollbooth.
Last year at 4AM on Thursday morning I managed to exit 24 west early and take backroads all the way to the farm. I came to the Bonnaroo entrance search points from the complete opposite direction of all the traffic (traffic typically comes from the direction of the winery/24). I have no idea how I was never stopped, but I made it in and waited maybe 5 minutes in a line at the search point.
Map out a long backroad entrance and you might get lucky. But they do close lots of 24 exits so people don't do this.
