I know that 'professional photography equipment' isn't allowed, but does anyone know if that includes cameras like a Nikon D90? I want to bring mine, but I'm not sure if that's considered 'professional' or not.
from what i have read and understand. they consider any camera that has a detachable lens as professional.. they told me in email my D80 was not allowed so i would say your D90 is not either...

you can get it in, but you run the risk of being turned away to take it back to camp. Just put it in your backpack and hope for a nice security person. If you get turned away and you're determined to get it in just get in another line.
I've brought my Nikon and never had any problems. I also have a friend who brought his camera along with a MASSIVE lens he rented and he didn't have a problem, either.
