My boyfriend and I will be coming to Bonnaroo for the first time with two other people. We have a tent that is 17 ft. by 13 ft. overall size (13 ft x 10 ft. tent area plus 13 ft x 7 ft porch) and all four of us will be sharing the tent. Our concern is that the tent is "too big"; however, if my boyfriend and I brought a small tent, and our other two friends brought a small tent, we are almost certain it would take up the same amount of room as the single big tent (if not more). Any recommendations about what to do? Thanks!
You'll probably be fine. I have a 12x7 tent and we were overlapping our neighbors last year. We had to all turn our tents just right just to fit. It was pretty rough, but we were cramped tighter than anyone I've even seen in the past.
