Anytime I've thought to myself "I should go wash off at the troughs" there is always a huge line for the showers already. So...go before the sun comes up?

Just to let you know when definitely NOT to go....11am and the hour or two before/after. I waited for over an hour in line last year because I decided it would be wise to make breakfast and chill first. There were people passing out. We would then wash off in the trough at night.
We're all a mess of paradoxes. Believing in things we know can't be true. We walk around carrying feelings too complicated and contradictory to express. But when it all becomes too big, and words aren't enough to help get it all out, there's always music.
I use baby wipes for wipe downs a few times a day. Also bring gallon jugs of water so me and my girls of my Roo Crew can help each other wash our hair a couple times. As hot as it is, I can't justify paying for showers.
Trough wash with soap/shampoo/body wash is the way to go. Wet wipes/baby wipes during the day when you need it are a TREMENDOUS help to get throguh if you need to clean up.
I went at 6:30 on Saturday morning last year and was the first person in line That's about the only good thing about not being able to sleep well away from home!
Theres absolutely no lines for the showers at my apartment before I leave and no lines at my apt. when I get back from Roo. Its pretty awesome not being a little bitch and being able to go camping for 4 days without showers.

Solar Shower, one of the best investments from our first year in '08. you need a partner to operate the nozzel and it's not for the modest, but there is never a line
The solar showers are a pain in the a$$...I just brought a shower enclosure and a couple of gallon jugs. Fill those with water and let them sit out in the sun for a bit, and they're warm enough to rinse off with. And no lines!
That's about the only good thing about not being able to sleep well away from home!
