So this will be my first year, and i have an odd question.., Whats the soil like at the farm? I have been building a flag poll this weekend and i was wondering how hard it will be to stake it into the ground. I wanted to ask this in the Flag Poll making thread, but i really can't find it... Thanks you!

Depends on the rain they get. If they haven't had rain for about a week it will be hard. Also depends on how low the grass is. If it is high, it will be a little softer.
