Damn... I forgot tire pressure. I did just get new tires last week for the trip, but The full-size spare deffinitly needs to be checked.
Also, I don't expect to go out and buy a jack, however I just bought my truck 2 months ago and just relized that I didn't have a jack to replace a tire if I needed too.

Great advice! Did this and a new air filter too. I also just changed my wiper blades, and rain-x'ed the windshield... nothing worse than hitting a big southern t-storm with wiper blades that are still falling apart from the winter.
Hopefully my rental car will be a-ok to go! Along with the previous "make sures", I say, charge your camera battery (I went down there with an almost dead battery last year- no bueno). Less importantly, but important, I make sure that my sheets are clean. We all know how important the first sleep in your bed is... having clean sheets = priceless.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Yes I also have a portable jumper/ air hose. Won it at Christmas party. Perfect for roo! Anyone in need I will be coming running. I'll be the guy with corn stuck in his teeth :-O

Went and got my oil changed on Friday. On Saturday I noticed that my car was leaking oil at a substantial rate... Turns out that they over-torqued the drain plug and cracked the plastic washer that is on there. It's fixed now, but it makes me glad I'm super-paranoid about car issues (have to be... I drive a p.o.s). See ya'll tomorrow night!

I always worry about this when I put mine back in.

If I'm doing it myself I typically don't worry about it as I trust my mechanic skills. Being short on time with work and other obligations forces me into using the other guys on occasion, which I'm ok with usually, but I always do my own inspection on their work for this exact reason. Those guys aren't going to respect your vehicle as much as you do.
got some new shoes and new battery for our gti today! woot woot! thanks for the reminder to be car-prepared, funk!!
Not a problem.
Just remember, when you all pass the slow ass green dodge dakota on I-24 tomorrow night, not to yell at me. I am sorry, however I could not afford a new transmission so my top speed is 55mph.
