Just thought I'd give you all a heads up on how I'm planning my arrival to Bonnaroo this go around. As you all know the gates are opening at 7pm on Wednesday. This has a lot of people guessing when the best time to arrive would be in order to avoid BFE but still get a fantastic campsite.
This year I've employed the help of my friends that will be on the farm on Tuesday because they are volunteering at the fest. If you have friends doing the same have them text/call you the second that BFE fills up so you know exactly when to enter the festival. That's what I'm doing this year.

I would expect the best time to roll into the farm to be about 4 or 5 am, but there's really no way to nail it down with all that traffic. There's literally gonna be traffic from about 5 pm tomorrow til late Thursday night. BFE should definitely be filled by 4 am though. I plan on getting in line around 6.
I have been for the past 5 years and have camped in BFE every year. Typically, I arrive on Wednesday night and go in. 2 years ago I showed up in Manchester at about 7AM on Thursday morning and I got the last spot in BFE. I was camped in BFE in BFE.
My friends had a short wait and got in before 7pm yesterday, but I think they're in BFE. Are the James Bond campsites on the other side of VIP considered BFE? What kind of walk should they expect?
why even post this here? If you aren't going to post the information here as it happens, you're basically saying "I have inside info and you don't."
#1 Maybe someone on inforoo is volunteering or has friends that are (crazy idea) that would like to employ this method.
#2 I'll text anyone that messages me their numbers when BFE is full...except for 420Scooter
