I posted this on the VIP board but thought someone might have an answer on this board....I have a VIP ticket and parking pass but my two buddies have GA tix so we will be camping their instead. Question is, can we enter the grounds via the GA entrance with my VIP ticket and VIP parking pass??? I know it seems like a waste but I don't want to camp solo!
Been there, done that DC. Yes you can go in the GA entrance. It will cause confusion as the parking staff may not be sure what to do with you. If anyone is unsure, respectfully suggest they pass you along to the next person and you will be their problem. : ) Last year we finally got parked in GA, but then we had to hoof over to VIP to get checked in. This was due to the lack of scanners for the VIP RFIDs in GA. Hopefully this year will be better with all of the bands needing to be scanned. Good Luck!
Swap (or quickly sell) your VIP for a now-cheap GA - - why waste the money and the VIP parking pass? Your friends won't be able to join you for VIP anything....
