I packed a case of Coors Light, a sixer of Jeremiah Weed and a fifth of Jim Beam and still spent a fortune (it seemed) on beer inside Centeroo.
I spent most of that at the Brooers tent on Leinie's Sunset Wheat, which was $6 better spent than $6 on mass market swill.
You can pick up sunset wheat in cans so next year bring that along with you and save some money. We liked the sweetwater blue in the brooers tent and picked some up in Asheville on the way home.

Sweetwater Blue is great. So much better than Sweetwater 420.
On Thursday evening I couldn't believe Pretty Things wanted $9 for a twelve-ounce in the beer tent. When I lifted my eyebrow at the server, she started apologizing immediately, told me that customers were furious, and said she'd been begging her boss to change the price all day. Went back Saturday evening, I think, and they were gone.

Haven't seen any cans of Sunset Wheat here in Texas. I may have to special order a case.

Then you wasted your money on a pretty mediocre beer, and a downright disappointin' beer when compared to most of the other craft brews available in the Brooers Festival.
Plus Leinenkugel was bein' boycotted by several members here fer some of the BS goin' on in Wisconsin right now.
I remember seeing someone in 2006 trying to sell 24 packs of Budweiser for $25 on the road... and it was considered a good deal. That should tell you something.

I'd have thought Leinie's would've been boycotted for masquerading as a microbrew fully owned by MillerCoors.
But I didn't give a quack: Leinie's is a superior broo.
I never really liked much anything from Leinenkugel's personally. I never had the Sunset Wheat, but well... there is that boycott due to the Wisconsin madness (see kdogg's posts on that). Or my sig.
When I was at the Pretty Things desk, I only paid $8 not $9. And this was during OCMS on Friday, I think. I was down at the tent during OCMS and then during Buffalo Springfield.
The Asheville Porter was solid, as was the Thomas Creek Red Ale. I'm drawing a blank on the other beer I had there.
My friend bought a case of Miller Lite (24 cans) for either $72 or $75 dollars at the General store. Inside Centeroo, it seemed the beers were about $6.
Yes, the prices are jerked.
Overall, the prices at Bonnaroo are what you would expect at an amusement park.
what do you think my chances are of reusing my brewer's tent tix next year? I came home with like 20 of em, such a waste!!! Do they change the tickets each year? color?
I gave up on beer in general for the most part this year. I just snuck in Gatorade and vodka in with water bottles. I used to sneak beer in but could only bring in so much in. I spent a lot less and got a buzz easier. Also didn't have to leave Centeroo to get more beer. They found all my stuff Sunday and still let me in with all of it which was cool

Pretty sure they change the color of the tickets, but I never remember. I know one or two inforooers found some old Broo'ers tickets and had plans to use them this year. Dunno how if it worked out though.
Yes they do change the color of the tickets. I had a few pinks ones left from another year, and I noticed that the 2011 tickets were definitely a different color. Actually I believe they were a different design, too.
