I've gotta say - the official opening on Wednesday night is throwing me for a loop. I'm not sure what to expect, and I'm still not sure when I will be arriving myself.
Anyway, I thought I'd throw this last minute poll out there to see what people's intentions were. Maybe we will get a smoother process this year - I assume Wednesday night will help ease the situation on Thursday morning. But I'm wondering how many people plan on/are willing and able to show-up Wednesday night. In many cases it would require another day off work, and results in another night of sleeping on the ground (but still, it is Bonnaroo . . .)
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

We found an awesome campground at Old Stone Fort state park. We got here around 7pm and its nice here except for the car alarm that keeps going off!!! Dead tired drove straight from 1130 last night till 7 tonight.

Planning on 4am arrival Thursday. Dont know how the traffic will work with the gate opening early this year but as long as the RV is parked by 1pm it is all good
Leaving sometime between 7-9 am on Thursday from Northern Kentucky (basically Cincinnati). Want to make sure I get plenty of rest the night before. Only a 5.5 hour drive. Left at 7 am on Thursday last year, picked up my wristband at the radio station, only waited 1 hour in traffic getting into the farm, had camp setup by 2 pm that afternoon. One of my big concerns is how many people are going down for opening on Wednesday. Just no way of knowing. My travel plans are based on faith and my history of going that I'll get a decent spot within 10 minutes of the Centeroo entrance.
In the traffic thread someone said that they heard at a volunteer meeting that the gates will be opened at 4pm. That gives the line 12 hours to go down by the time I plan to get in line. If they can't get everyone parked in 24 hours something is wrong. I dont see how this could be a bad thing.
