Got lucky and was walking to the beer line when they opened up the left side and pit and made it inside. MY friend just missed it walking up late but got a good spot.

To be honest, the people that didn't wait in line and then just joined the frenzy when they opened the pit really irritated me. Show some ethics--it's totally unfair to the people that'd been waiting in the line forever. It's not "lucky," it's disrespectful and inconsiderate.
There's not a lot that truly pisses me off, but you can ask NoD how I got when someone tried to cut into the Buffalo Springfield pit line.

I had something funny happy to me when I was going into the Jacket pit. When it was my turn, I started going through the one-person-wide gate and then some guy behind me started yelling "FAIR PLAY!" over and over and pushing me. He pushed me so hard that I tripped over the railing and then when I was on the ground, he pointed down at me really violently and said, one more time, "FAIR PLAY." It was so odd that I couldn't even be mad.
I was also in the left pit. So glad I could get up close after having to leave their 08 set during Steam Engine! Here is my vid of the last 4 minutes of, you guessed it, Steam Engine.
Myself and Approo were both in there and it was probably my favorite show of the weekend. Was there a fight in the pit? We had a group of people fall back onto us and then saw people holding back a guy, who appeared to have a black eye or something. Never saw anything else come from it, but who the hell fights in the pit of a MMJ show at Roo?

Myself plus a friend. We were in the back right of the left side pit, so we could lean on the middle divider and the back wall. We got hit with thousands of of glow sticks!
Emoney serves more of a purpose than any of you, especially Nate, whose incessant, garbled ramblings are so mindless and pointless that I get depressed just seeing them.
I was in the left pit as well. Actually, I was in the pit for Decemberists, MMJ, and Arcade Fire. I was initially just planning on getting into the pit for Decemberists and close for the other two, since I've been up close for previous Arcade Fire and MMJ shows, and my only Decemberists show was in 2007, where I was waaay back at Which Stage. But after getting out of the pit for Decemberists, I just decided to hop back in line for MMJ and got in pretty easily. While I was in in the pit for MMJ, I decided I'd do the same for Arcade Fire and try to go 3 for 3.
As soon as MMJ went off, I got in line a 3rd time and I was one of the last people they let in for Arcade Fire. I even met some cool people in line for each of the shows too. In the end, I almost felt a little bad for those people who were lining up for the Arcade Fire pit at like 4:30, when I was waiting for the Decemberists.
