We had a great time but just one complaint and it was a biggy considering the heat. Our RV was parked in the back of the RV area so every time a freshwater or waste water pump truck headed out to the RV area, they would get flagged down long before they got to us. They would run out of water and return, only to run out again before reaching us. Same with the pump truck. Over the 5 days we were parked, we called the water contractor at least 2 dozen times and they kept telling us that they would get to us, just stand out by the road and flag them down. So we kept a road rotation going at least half a day every day but to no avail. We kept telling them to start every other truck at the back and work forward. It's like they didn't care. The festival people need to know about this but I have no way of reaching them. Does anyone have a phone number or email address ? Thanks.

So I'm curious, it's gonna decide whether I try to go next year; RV had trucks driving by with fresh water for you guys. Did you have to deal with the stinky egg smelling water we had to wash with at GA camping?

From our experience in 2010 you won't get a response even if your well-written letter rivals the magna carta.
We tried to flag down a waste truck for two days. I called the service number and always got the same response - "just flag one down". We saw them and flagged them but they never made it to our row.
Fortunately a local business that was servicing the portos started going around and they were super. Not only did the guys pump us out but they did it for $35 instead of the $50 that Bonnaroo was charging. They were very adamant about expressing that they were not involved with Bonnaroo and very sympathetic regarding the (typical from our experience) poor service Bonnaroo was providing. Needless to say they got a $15 tip from us and countless thanks.
Last year in RV rental we never got a full water delivery, never got a pump-out and the assholes ran out of gas for the generators so we had no electric or A/C for about six hours. Bonnaroo's service vendors can suck it.

We never got freshwater because the trucks ran out before they got to us. On Saturday, a "fly by night" truck came by with water you could wash with but not drink. Basically we lived off of trips to the water holes but you could only tote so much back. It was a pain but I would do it all over again if that answers your question.
I also have a collapsable dolly to tote the containers to and from the water stations. We also use our water that has melted from ice in our coolers. Nothing wasted.

^ ^ ^ This is genius. Nicely done. One of the many cool unexpected things I got out of Roo was a chance to Macguyver a bunch of DIY projects... my favorites were my lighted flagpole and personal misting tent, but your freshwater system is a whole new level!!
