5/4 - Primus/A Perfect Circle/Puscifer (Forest Hills Stadium) 5/11 - Freddie Gibbs & Madlib (Pier 17) 5/14 - Neil Young & Crazy Horse (Forest Hills Stadium) 5/25 - Fatboy Slim (Knockdown Center) 5/29 - Tyler Childers (Madison Square Garden) 6/13 - Dead & Company (Sphere) 7/26 - Justice (Brooklyn Navy Yard) 9/15 - Sea.Hear.Now (Asbury Park) 9/24 - Tedeschi Trucks Band (Beacon Theatre) 11/2 - Iron Maiden (Barclays Center)
Pretty heavy May, light rest of the year so far. A lot of maybes on the list too, but I'm making an effort this year to spend less and pick/choose a little more and hit things I haven't or rarely have seen before. Exceptions for all-time favorites apply (see Gibbs, Freddie and others) duh.

Closest Belew Levin Carey Vai KC 80’s show appears to be Houston on September 21. I don’t have it all but I found this - The BEAT tour kicks off September 12 in San Jose, California, and wraps up November 8 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ticket sales begin April 5.

I think that's it for now, need to buy a handful of tickets for Richmond's summer Friday series (Mdou Moctar, Daniel Donato, Digable Planets) and there are a couple bigger ones I'm still strongly considering (Justice, Creed, Sigur Ros), but I think it will end up a lighter year for me and I don't think I'll end up making it to any fests.

You know what? Let me post my little list here too. I’ve been wanting to get rid of the upcoming shows box in my signature for a while anyway since it’s outlived its usefulness for me but it’s nice just to have an organized list somewhere. (Also I love to brag and show off.)
4/3 - Action Bronson 4/9 - Meth Math 4/12 - Bicep 5/4 - Belle and Sebastian/The Weather Station 5/4 - Indo Warehouse 5/11 - Belanova 5/17 - Shygirl 5/23 - Neil Young & Crazy Horse 5/25-6/1 - Various shows in Paris and Barcelona 6/7 - Miki Berenyi Trio/Lol Tolhurst & Budgie 6/8 - Kim Gordon/Irreversible Entanglements 6/27 - The Rolling Stones 6/28 - The Hold Steady 7/19-21 - Pitchfork 7/27 - Vampire Weekend/Princess/Ra Ra Riot 9/7 - Willie Nelson/Bob Dylan/John Mellencamp 9/8 - Pulp 9/12 - Kacey Musgraves/Father John Misty/Nickel Creek
Kind of surprised The Black Keys are still doing arenas, I assumed the venues would be large ballrooms and that sort of venue. Can't imagine those sell great
Except for dedicated THATH fans who'll pay to see them open, I don't see a synergy between the two artists moving a lot of tickets to people who would otherwise be on the fence about seeing either one individually. Their vibes seem too far apart to create that sort of draw.
Unlike the KM/FJM/NC and Weezer/F'Lips/Dino, Jr. tours where those particular combinations of artists seem well-curated to draw people who'd be on the fence about paying to see any one of them at their own headlining show.
Wow, as soon as they part ways with their drummer who's from suburban Boston, they stop booking Boston shows. I doubt that Boston is one or more of the blacked out dates, since they're not playing any New England festivals to the best of my knowledge and waiting for those to happen before announcing other area shows.
