I don't have a full list right now but I did just buy a ticket for Decemberists in Indy, 5/23 at their Rock the Ruins series. Gonna be an all timer for me. Ratboys opening is cool too

Aerosmith Farewell tour. Why is it gonna be in THX?
Aerosmith was my first-ever concert - the PUMP tour, in 1990. I should go see this as a full-circle moment.
But I am most definitely not going to do that.
PUMP was one of the first cassettes I owned, yet I have somehow never seen Aerosmith live. I was supposed to see them in January, followed by Mr. Big (who I had also never seen) a week or two later. (They were terrific.) I am looking forward the rescheduled date, and I am happy to cross both off my bucket list this year to the delight of 13-year-old me.

The email I received from PromoWest about this show said “The Struts w/ Courtney Barnett” in the preview blurb. You can imagine my disappointment when I opened it up.

"Get A Grip" was one of my first tapes. i've never seen Aerosmith live and i guess i never will.
Haha. I don't like most of the MTV era shit and later, though I can partially stand Dude Looks Like a Lady and Rag Doll. Toys in the Attic was great among other early albums. They played Jazz fest in 2018 and I went to some of it out of curiosity since I never saw them. Plus I always liked Joe Perry's guitar work. The parts I saw were pretty good as was the setlist. I didn't need to see all of it, and I wouldn't otherwise pay to see them not at a festival. For the setlist they did - Toys in the Attic (great open), Same Old Song and Dance, Love in an Elevator, Last Child, Rag Doll, Stop Messing Around (Fleetwood Mac), Janie's Got a Gun, Oh Well (Fleetwood Mac OG metal years cover), Adam's Apple, I Don't Want to Miss a Thing, Sweet Emotion, Dude Looks Like a Lady, Dream On and Walk This Way. I'd be willing to bet anyone 30 or over knows the majority of the words to most of those songs just because much of that music has been around in life. Tyler could still play piano and has his front-man style. Perry was rocking (and they had a good band - not sure who all from the original 5 was still in it). It wasn't going to make my top 10 or 20 of 2018, but it didn't suck. I left during the middle to go see Anita Baker whom I had also never seen and wanted to pay respect to but got back for Sweet Emotion. If nothing else, it was a solid show.

This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
Be curious to see what comes of this. Regardless of what happens, nothing is going to lower ticket prices. You might just get a more itemized breakdown which will likely be even more infuriating.
I saw her last week in a tiny black box theater in the Boston area, playing most of what critics are already calling a likely AOTY candidate. If the idea of Sandy Denny backed by Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, and Neil Young sounds like your cup of tea, you won't want to miss this.
Be curious to see what comes of this. Regardless of what happens, nothing is going to lower ticket prices. You might just get a more itemized breakdown which will likely be even more infuriating.
The only thing that lowers ticket prices will be empty seats. When people refuse to pay high prices and the empty seats vastly outnumber the sold ones, then tickets will drop in price. But that will only happen when concertgoers are willing to stay home when favorite artists play locally.
