lots more shows I'm interested in LA, but I just don't think it's worth it to drive all the way up to LA on a weeknight just to sit in the very back at the bowl or the greek. oh well, you can't win them all.
11/28 Raveonettes (Copenhagen, Denmark) 12/4 Interpol 12/14 LCD Soundsystem 12/31 Billy Joel 1/25 The Killers (Las Vegas) 2/12 Jack White 2/25 Father John Misty 3/6 Inhaler 4/10 Franz Ferdinand 4/17 Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds 5/15 Amyl & the Sniffers 5/18 Fontaines D.C. 9/1 Oasis
Finally done with Live Nation today, got both shows I was after, just in time to get on AXS and join the Arcade Fire queue, they are annoying too with the CAPTCHAs!

All is well (mostly) with all in, and got tickets to Totally Tubular Festival (a bunch of 80's new wave acts), Black Pumas, Joe Russo's Almost Dead, and Stephen Sanchez. Unfortunately, there were no cheap tickets listed for Daryl Hall/Elvis Costello or Gary Clark, Jr., but I'll check again later (and The Pretenders show wasn't listed),
Had I known that these shows would be available here, I would have held off on Orville Peck, Vampire Weekend, and Drive-By Truckers and tried to get them on the cheap this week.

I won't drive to Chula Vista for a show but I'll take a day off work, pay for a hotel and drive to LA sometimes. I'm dumb.
Arcade Fire at Red Rocks is pricey, plus I needed to add a shuttle on top of that - still, I'm a sucker. Needed to do the refresh thing multiple times to wrest a ticket out of the presale. Still not 100% that I'll make the journey but think I can sell it just fine if I don't.

Green Day / Smashing Pumpkins / Rancid / Linda Lindas (6x, bought for friends), Great American Ballpark, Cincinnati
Alpha Wolf / Emmure (2x, total was $26?), Bogarts, Cincinnati
The Avett Bros (1x) Rupp Arena, Lexington
James Taylor (2x, mothers day present) Burgettstown, PA
Concert Week is great and all until I realize I paid $100 apiece months ago for Green Day tickets in the upper deck.
Vamp weekend here and Decemberists and Porter Robinson in indy were all tix I had already. Thankfully only porter robinson was available today so I wouldn't have been able to buy the other two anyway. Brutal tho
only ended up with frank tuner in june. i never been to the met (opera house) in philly and even for $25 im not going to sit in the last row. better off waiting for resale to drop as prices drop for better seats or pit.
Made off with way better seats to see War on Drugs + The National than I had expected for $25 and two $25 lawn seats for Pitbull + Lil John + T-Pain. DALE!

Speaking of bananas deals, the resale market for The Rolling Stones date in Seattle next Wednesday has ABSOLUTELY cratered. $80 nosebleeds going for $37 all-in on TickPick. I scooped some up but the lower bowl seats might continue to spiral in price as it gets closer.

Speaking of...is there any way to sell Lucky Dip tickets? Kinda not sure if I want to trek to SoFi Stadium on a Wednesday anymore lol

I checked on Reddit while trying to figure out what time the main set starts - some folks have had luck writing a letter including a photocopy of their ID and order confirmation, and having the buying party bring that to will call. But, that does come with some risk, and could be not a guaranteed success.
