Though it's still a year out, I'm expecting big things from the re-vamped, AC-run festival, ready to celebrate its 10th anny. Really looking forward to have a second, smaller BonnaLou in my neck of the woods for years to come. I'm hoping MMJ feels the same hometown pride and decides to headline for the next decade or two. The "Halfway to Forecastle" pre-hype fest is in two weeks at Waterfront Park with Pretty Lights, Big Boi, RJD2 & Twin Shadow, so anyone who missed these sets down on the Farm has another shot. I don't imagine AC will continue to recycle so many names from the Roo roster in 2012, given the proximity and length of time apart.

Dates just released, July 15th-17th, one month after Roo. I've got high hopes for this fest. AC will run it right and solidify it as a cool, little summer sequel. Anyone burned out on the massive Manchester crowds or just down on a particular year's line-up should definitely consider Forecastle as an alternative.

It is. And yer right. But that's cool with me. One thing I don't see happening is a lot of Roo crossovers, being that they're both AC booked. If we don't get MMJ on the farm next time round, I'll bet it's cause their headlining the Louisville Waterfront in July.
Isn't the second weekend of July typically All Good Festival? Might be a lot of crossovers.
This year it was the third weekend but usually they are the same one. Not a lot of crossovers in 09, or 10 though.
I only say that because of the production company. Maybe not though as the Half Way was more electro based. I didn't even notice it switched to the 3rd weekend.
