So lets say you can have either Radiohead or Daft Punk at Bonnaroo 2012. Of could most of us would gladly take either. But which would you prefer if you could only have one?

I went with Daft Punk because unless they ever play Lolla again, I really doubt they'd ever come to the Upper Midwest. At least there's a better shot Radiohead would play Alpine or Chicago or somewhere decently close.
^I say this from experience, admitting you don't like Radiohead on here is like admitting you're Taylor Swift's #1 fan or something. I don't understand the vitriol reactions, not everyone can like the same bands.
I didn't kill anyones puppy, I'm just not the biggest fan omg ever of Radiohead.
Let Radiohead go to Pitchfork Fest and/or Coachella to be worshiped by the hipster hordes.
To me they have always been one of those bands that everyone claims to like to up their cool status.
Way overrated in my opinion.
To each their own. If you don't like Radiohead, that's cool. But people other than hipsters like Radiohead. And Pitchfork only has like 15-20k people, so Radiohead wouldn't play there. Even if you don't like Radiohead, there are surely bands that have headlined Bonnaroo that you like less.
EDIT: I forgot to add that I refuse to vote in this. I like Radiohead far more than Daft Punk, but having seen both I will say that a Daft Punk show is something unlike any other show- including Radiohead. I'd be so happy with either that I could never decide between the two.

As far as the actual question, Daft Punk. Daft Punk has never played Bonnaroo before, and I think that a festival set would be the ultimate way to see them.
Meanwhile, I will go to Radiohead whenever they next tour and enjoy them just as much as if I had seem them at Bonnaroo.
Except you kind of pulled the "people only like this band to look cool" card which is almost always obnoxious.
I mean, if you don't like Radiohead, that's fine, not everyone has to like the same thing. But don't pretend like you were just saying that, you were kind of slyly sticking in there that you somehow think that millions of Radiohead fans are only liking them to be "cool."
hahah if it were Radiohead it would be (one of) the few HL's I've been awake for.. but I totally applaud your roo-ethic
Echoed. Out of all the Bonnaroos I've attended (7), I've only watched the entire HL set of any band 4 times total - Neil Young, Dave Matthews & Friends, Radiohead and Bruce Springsteen.
Headliner nappers unite & take over! I'm always swimming upstream back to camp at that time.
