Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
man there's a lot of other headliners I'd rather see on next year's bill, but I will say that if she weer given one of the slots I'd welcome it with open arms. She nailed it at Glastonbury last night gang, a performer in every sense of the word. I don't think you'll ever see Beyonce or Lady Gaga at Bonnaroo, but if in fact they are considering either I sure hope they'd decide on the former.
I'll try to reiterate what I said in plainer terms; I don't really want her, I don't think you'll see her, but I wouldn't be disappointed and I'd watch.

If I had to pick one pop headliner, I'd pick her. To be honest, I'd just use it as nap/prep time. Now a Destiny's Child reunion, on the other hand, I would attend. My inner-10 year old would go crazy.
Then why did you start this thread? Starting a "Beyonce maybe if you can't find anything better for 2012" campaign?
because there's folks here who think Roo organizers might go in that direction by booking Lady Gaga. I wouldn't want that, but if in fact they're going in that direction I wouldn't be upset with Beyonce. That's all.
I welcome either Beyonce or Lady Gaga, having a powerful talented female headlining performer on the farm would be pretty awesome. They both are known for putting on a huge spectacle, and both can sing their donkeys off. They are two women who know how hard it is to be successful, so they WORK for that audience, and they give you your monies worth every show.
There's people who think pop music has no place on the farm, and they're completely welcome to that opinion. Lots of people think rap/hip hop has no place on the farm, and Jay Z proved those people wrong in '10. I think one of these ladies could do the same next year.
Now, I want to say that just like every rap artist would not be worthy of a spot on a farm, not every pop act deserves a spot either. I would be just as mad as anyone else if Taylor Swift or Katy Perry were booked. To me there's a big difference between those acts and Gaga/Beyonce, namely, talent.

I would be disappointed, but I'd go if the rest of the lineup was good, and I'd go to her show for at least a little while. Even if it was just the 5 minutes to say "I saw Beyonce"

Do you guys realize by starting a thread like this you're definitely guaranteeing a female pop Saturday night headliner next year. Can I predict shit or what?

This board is disappointingly predictable. Female artists being compared not on any musical basis but solely on gender, and a dismissal of a legit artist because what radio station she is played on.
