Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
The mosh pits at Roo are definitely not the same as at a regular show. They're a lot smaller and not nearly as violent. I regrettably missed Kylesa, but there was a small pit at Opeth. And there was also this guy who was rolling, thrashing and burying himself in the sand for most of the show.
hahaha i remember that guy, best moves I've ever seen in a pit... i really wish the whole mosh pit thing would die out.
All I want is Iron Maiden, Clutch, and Baroness. That would make me happy. Oh and Russian Circles - I missed them last time
Diggin' the love for Russian Circles. Yeah, I missed them because they played the only bonnaroo I missed since my first one in 08. They would be a great add to a metal tent.
That and Eluveite cuz we need to have Celtic Metal at the farm

Everyone should have a special crush on Neil. Have you ever met him? He's shorter than I imagined.
Nope not met him, but was front row in a small show in Nashville and he didn't look very tall. I'm ok with that
If you ever do want to, I suggest hanging out a bit after one of their shows. They tend to hang out some, shake hands, talk and such. On the Elephant Riders tour, a few friends and I talked to everyone but him as he immediately ran across the street to call his now-wife. It was so surreal to stand there and listen to them make fun of him for being whipped.
Edit: Since we're on the subject, Jamey Josta (sp?) from Hatebreed is amazingly short.

I really think I would be to star struck to speak to him...... I was like that when I met John and Allen from Baroness in catering and they are not even big stars, but I LOVE them - I sat there in silence

I met them after the Bakerton Group played at Roo in '10. They were really nice as well.
the night supervisor, a 65+ year old lady just asked me if I have ever heard of Obituary? Who, I asked. Her step-sons are in this band. I was wondering if anybody has heard of them?
Your co-worker's step-sons are demonic beasts. Great band for many years.
^^ someone here really likes Mastodon, and he has had to remind about 3-4 people in this thread alone that Mastodon is already booked on the dates of Roo in Europe. Just sayin'.

If anyone should be known as the guy who really likes Mastodon, it's Juggs. I just like to be helpful.

Didn't really research it...just a wish list. They could all be booked for what I know. Just sayin'.
