I have made a conscious effort to cut out almost all the sugary drinks from my day. No more cokes. Minimal sweet tea. This means I am drinking water all day at work. I am sure this has multiple health benefits. The issue that comes up is that I would only drink tea and cokes at meals, so my fluid intake wasn't stellar during the day. With water, I am constantly drinking it. My intake has increased dramatically. I think I've peed seven times today because of this. It's ridiculous.

Yea, I've got the habit of having soda with meals. If not soda, some sugary juice drink. I really need to try harder on cutting that stuff out. Was good for a little while then went right back to it.
Your bathroom breaks will definitely increase in the short term but if you stay consistent with it your body will adjust.

Don't believe these fools. You'll be peeing all the time. It's good for you, and worth it, but I drink water often and go several times a day. Fun fact: I have to pee right now.

The obvious solution:
I try to avoid soda even though I love it. La Croix--and really any sparkling water--is the perfect replacement for me. Ideally I'd just drink coffee all day but caffeine makes me feel terrible after I have a lot of it.
My goal was to start going to the gym again this week. I was planning on going in the mornings before work, and today was gonna be my first day. I don't have work until 1 on Mondays, and tomorrow I'm covering a coworker's shift so I'll be going in at one tomorrow as well. My plan was to get up at 5, go to the gym, and then I'd be able to nap before work if I still needed it. However, sometimes I have terrible insomnia. Last night was one of those nights. I didn't fall asleep until some time after 6am, woke up at 12:30, and went straight to work, and I'm done at 9. Which totally pushed my internal clock in the wrong direction. So right now I'm contemplating taking something to help me sleep as soon as I get home, and stick to my 5am gym plan.
Keeping this sort of schedule is beneficial for me because if I'm consistent with it and force myself to go to bed around 10 or so, I get enough sleep, and the early rising/working out keeps the insomnia at bay. And when working out I NEED to get sufficient sleep or I become injury prone and miserable. However, I also enjoy hanging out with other Inforooers in chat at night (which doesn't really get poppin' until 9:30 or so), as well as watching basketball (and sometimes games don't even start until 10:30). So going to bed early makes me miss out somewhat on the things I enjoy, which makes me question if it's worth it.
I prefer not to go to the gym right after work because it's always really crowded, and if I go later at night it's an extra trip out of the house that I have to make, plus I get amped up and it gets harder to sleep, which is tough enough for me as it is.
I feel like no matter which way I slice it, I'm gonna be missing out on something somewhere - either sleep, social activities, or my workouts. If I slept like a normal person it'd probably be a bit easier. I'm probably just overthinking this, but sometimes I just need to get all my thoughts out. Gotta find a good point of balance.
Shit, maybe I should just accept that 2016 is the year that Jazmo grows a gut.

Sorta like Maggie in The Walking Dead. They're playing up her country accent way too much. I don't remember if it was always that bad, but I've been really noticing it this season.

I never realized it was a dialect thing. I always assumed it was interchangeable for everyone.
also, USD's mascot is a coyote and no one pronounces it as 3 syllables, and we probably say coyote more than most people. we even abbreviate it to "yotes"

Why don't you sleep a bit later and then hit the gym before work without the nap time built in? Stay up till midnight...
