Any of you ever had a problem using any of the food delivery apps with people just not delivering your food? We’ve had it happen twice since Sun. We were able to cancel and get refund both times.
I have to deal with this from the dispatcher side of things. Drivers can be the worst. I rarely see anyone actually steal food though. Mostly just drivers deciding they don't want the order after it's been assigned to them for 30+ minutes or doing other services at the same time with food in the car.
Jokes aside, I look at the tip first before I accept the order. If it’s like 5 bucks and across town, I’ll skip it. Not implying you aren’t tipping well, just going by personal experiences.
If it’s literally people picking it up and not delivering, I dunno. I worry about my rating too much to even think about that.
Really sorry that’s happening to you a few times now.

If there's anything I've noticed from delivery driver social media, most of them run every app they can at the same time and just stack orders, making as much money as possible and screwing over the customers
We have have issues with doordash in the past. They have been ranking 90-110 min delivery times recently. My last basically had a driver pickup and then drop us and we had to wait for another driver. I try not to use those services because they usually suck and take too much time.

Teddy hit the nail on the head. The driver took the order and found another that was more money. I only use one at a time for that reason alone. I work 20 hours a week and usually hit close to $500 in that timeframe. Adding another app would be more money but just creates too much conflict imo.
When I was in Raleigh a few weeks ago, I had a kid deliver a pizza on a bike and I was in awe. It’s not done at all where I’m at and lunchtime would be just insane with money.
Downside is I don’t get to catch up on new releases.
Also: Fuck ordering food from these apps. Take that money and invest in cookware. You’ll be happier you did in the long run.
I use them at work. If we're short staffed there are shifts where I literally cannot leave for safety reasons.
At home I live too far in the country for delivery service except for a few restaurants that are right in the village and I'll just pick that stuff up. Normally I'm driving an hour round trip when I get takeout these days now that we're off meat.

Oh, I get why and there are circumstances that I’d tell people to do it. Just as a whole, I feel like its a waste of money. Even when I wasn’t working food type jobs I’d prepare lunches for the week.
That said, do fully understand.
It’s also possible I love wandering food markets and looking at stuff too much.
I’m on mobile right now but everything is huge and not sized properly (it looks like I’ve turned it to horizontal mode even though I have the vertical lock on). I’ve tried switching between desktop/mobile, logging in and out, rebooting safari etc. but nothing’s worked. Anyone know any solutions?

Best guess would be to delete the cookies for Inforoo. Or is it on other sites too?

Weirdly, while trying to delete my Inforoo cookies, I came across a safari setting that allowed me to change the default zoom, for some reason it was set at 50% but I fixed it. So inadvertently thank you!
Paul McCartney says in his recent New Yorker interview that the Stones were a “blues cover band”. There’s gonna be a fight in the nursing home courtyard.
I'm DMing my first DnD campaign (because I am the Nerd Queentm) and I can already tell I'm going to have a love/hate relationship with it
I'm gonna put sooooooo much more work into this than I need to
Watching Timmy DM on the WKUK buckerson and meyers web series made me never want to DM ever. I still dont know how he made it through that. You are a brave soul.
Man, he missed a couple opportunities to grid the rail. But that would have exerted a lot more energy and maybe he wouldn't have been able to talk. Still. MISSED OPPORTUNITY!
