The Pitchfork 25th anniversary readers’ poll is out. It’s exactly what you’d expect (the top 4 albums are, in order, Kid A, OK Computer, MBDTF, and In Rainbows). They also included a gender breakdown at the end which includes non-binary people and the way it’s sequenced is kind of funny to me because it feels like it’s pushing for new and exciting gender stereotypes, like we all already knew that women love Lana Del Rey and men love Radiohead, but what about non-binary people loving Kendrick Lamar!?
Man, he missed a couple opportunities to grid the rail. But that would have exerted a lot more energy and maybe he wouldn't have been able to talk. Still. MISSED OPPORTUNITY!
what if in a suit you miss that grind though... that's called knowing JUST ENOUGH to do

I was hoping he'd throw in a kick flip at the end. Then I remembered how many pairs of pants I absolutely wrecked trying to learn to kick flip.

well per his hit "I Don't Get Tired", Kevin Gates "...got six jobs I don't get tired and i don't get tired, i don't get, i don't get tired" so tbh maybe there is something to his view.
Both are true. But I haven't heard it played anywhere in forever. I don't know why this morning it's on repeat in my head.
Edit: It's just this part that i remembered.
It's driving me out of my mind That's why it's hard for me to find Can't get it outta my head Miss her, kiss her, love her, wrong move you're dead That girl is poison (Poison poison)

Wait...that is in the lyrics? I just resang that part, several times and I don't even have a space where that would be sung. Is that like one of the harmony singers? Is it a background line? WTAF?

That tripped me up too - it’s spoken in the background and overlaps the preceding and following lines. That ish needs (parentheses) in the lyrics
