In my experience you should never take a girl out on a formal date for the "first date"...Not saying ALL women use men for free stuff, but wait until the 2nd or 3rd date for monetary chivalry.
I'd agree. I think I am the ONLY one of my friends don't like to get drinks bought for them. I will usually only let you buy me a drink if I plan on hanging out with you all night and I can get you back or you are a friend that I know I will see again (and get you back then). Otherwise, I turn it down. I hate how some girls go out expecting not to pay for anything. I have a good friend who is on match right now... but she doesn't want a boyfriend. She just wants the nice dinners bought for her and the occasional sex if you're cute. She wants nothing else. I think it's wrong.
2) its not all bad, take a ride down scenic Albany Avenue.
Ummm.. what?? I am pretty sure that the North End (environs Albany Ave) has more shootings than the rest of the city put together. It's worse than Frog Hollow and the rest of the South End by far. The only reasons I have ever even been to the North End:
1. I got lost going to the South End (yeah, I know) before I moved to the area.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

We went to the pizza buffet tonight for dinner. While there, I overheard a guy tell his kids that WW2 was started by the assassination of the Archbishop of Austria. This made me very sad.

My dream for Neil jamming out with MMJ lives on! Just imagine Neil going to town on Dondante with Old Black or the jam that could happen if they busted out RITFW or Cortez
I gave my notice this morning. Offered to stay two weeks, or agreed to leave immediately, whatever the firm wanted (they've done both in the past). Almost 4 hours later, and I still have no word.
WTF? Either tell me you want me to stay on, in which case I'll get some work done, or give me the boot and I'll happily skip out the door. I'm now in the awkward position of trying to figure out whether I should bother going to get lunch or not.
Their plan for revenge is taking longer than expected.
My office is on the 52nd floor of my building facing the Chrysler building (which is across the street) and I can't see it. Just black/gray cloud and howling wind.
I never get used to this, even though it happens once or twice a month.

If #humblebrag wasn't so foolishly overused, I'd drop one right here for you, Flanzo.
If it's clear tomorrow I'll post a picture. There will be nothing humble about that brag.

It is not a good idea to reach into an oven (while your mind is occupied with making coffee) and grab, with bare hands, the glass dish that has been in 350 degrees for an hour.

Deal. You do the whole "wake up at 5:30 am, get home at 6-7pm M-F, and sometimes Saturday" thing, I'll do the "do whatever the hell I want, drink all night and sleep all day super cool college" thing. K?
